Actually the first HDTVs ranged from $5000-$10000. 3DTVs are not only cheaper to begin with, but we all know it only takes a couple xmas seasons for prices to drop rapidly.

Those are really bad shots of MGS4, that's definitely not representative of what it looks like. I wouldn't doubt they were from TGS 05 or 06, they look really bad in comparison to what I see on my TV.

E3 is the biggest gaming conference in the world, they had plenty of time to prepare ANYTHING for it, but they came out with actors and fake demos of lame gimmicky games. I'll bet you're still "waiting" for Duke Nukem Forever ain't ya?
they could have still written the character to be the same personality type, and same sort of voice, an actor is hired to act the way his or her part is written, the new Cole is the way he is not because they changed the actor etc.. but because they wrote him and intended him to be a different Cole.
And as much as I want this game to kick ass, changing the main character completely, only keeping the name was and is a mistake, there was no call for it... Cole is an established character, we spent the whole last game getting to know him, and to add insult to injury, the new voice sounds pretty lame, like a poorly Nathan Drakified version of Cole.
They could have tweeked the look, even give him some hair and hire a new voice actor, but they changed his personality it seems,...

From the translation they got this info from on the Japanese site isn't all that clear, and may not have translated well. I would be very surprised if they literally had no interior, I think they might have meant the info about the super detailed interior only applied to premiums as the translation just said: " "Standard Car" does not correspond to the interior view." but it was out of context and hard to understand exactly what was mean.

Who said they agreed that physical media was on its way out? I just think it's nice to have the option, and I think it's a smart money saver and eco friendly way of doing business, whether it be Sony or anyone for that matter.
