But it's here to stay, and it's only gonna get better and cheaper as time goes on. Xmas 2012 will likely be a big season for 3DTV, or at least 2013.. I'm sure anyone looking for a new TV around that time will gravitate towards the 3D option.
"tv's are not something that one need upgrade frequently"
Might I point out that one doesn't NEED a tv to begin with, it's a luxury. Some will wish to have this luxury sooner, some later, some never. Just like people buy iPads in record numbers, not because they need it, because they choose to spend their money on it. Your situation has nothing to do with mine or the next guys.
EDIT: @champ21 True, but that's the trouble with being an ...
So TV's should stay the same until your new one wears out? Speak for yourself. Every year, many people buy new TVs, just like when HD tvs were first coming out I'm sure many people had just bought a new SD TV and didn't need an HDTV for many years, but people who needed a new TV later on, went with a new HDTV, now they're quite common. Just because you JUST bought yours, doesn't mean everyone is good for a TV for the next 10 years. All it takes is one xmas season to star...
Once 3D finds its groove in gaming, I think it'll change everything. It has the potential, in the right hands of the right developer to up the badåss level through the roof.
I tried to think of another way to put this, but.... You're full of shît, and you know it.
HR simply comes up with new and innovative ways to interact with a story. In many ways it's more interactive than conventional games. Most games, if you were going to cut your own finger off for example, you would press the action button, whereas in HR you are able to direct your hand to your weapon of choice, lift it up, and actually become involved with the motion of carr...
But the load times get so tedious. It's the kind of game that you wanna jump right into, and you're also switching from race to race and game mode to game mode pretty much all the time, which is great cause there's lots to do, but the frequency of them makes the long load times particularly frustrating. If they could improve upon that, it'd be perfect. It's exactly the type of game I love playing with friends, yet you can also play on your own and get really into modding g...
Getting the chance to not only play GT5, but in 3fückinD and on a sick setup like that, with the wheel, bucket seat, and pedals and what-not... That's what dreams are made of boys and girl (there can't be more than one girl here.)
I guess some moron disagrees with the indisputable fact that humanity needs to reduce the amount of plastic we use.
Cause we need all the help we can get reducing how much plastic we use. Hopefully they come up with another solution.
I can't tell if he's being sarcastic.....
This just in! Technology expected to progress in the years to come!!! O_o
And then those No-glasses TVs will be obsolete 5 years after that, or sooner. That's called progress, captain obvious.
I haven't lost interest myself, but I think where people who have are coming from is the approach to multiplatform games is different, both versions usually suffer, and the developer has to cater to the lowest common denominator, meaning the 360, which has considerably less space to offer with the DVD9, no standard HDD to work with, and is arguably a less powerful machine. So what it comes down to is while the game may turn out great, it loses a certain amount of potential when going mult...
Are you sure you didn't just make that up as you were typing it? Shhh Neonvapor.. It's ok, the jig is up now.
FFVII Remake as a launch title, that'll be the day. And that day will apparently be 30 years from now...
Exactly. SE is sitting on a potential gold mine, and somehow they squander it every step of the way. Every game you mentioned, right down to a FFVII remake, things the dedicated fans SquareSoft earned want very badly, and would go ape shît over, they let collect dust on the shelf. Again, it's squandered potential by a company that has become completely out of touch with it's audience, and that really blows for us.
How does SE get so wrong, what SquareSoft had per...
Maybe they could write characters that are even a little mature this time around, not the over the top, childish, cheesy crap they wrote for XIII. I felt like I was listening to an episode of Pokemon or something.
Who told square we wanted them to follow the FFXIII development path? Crystal Tools and FFXIII suck my nads pretty hard.
SE, how about you just give up making games all together, and sell the FF series to a developer that can salvage it's once good name. Making good games is clearly too darn hard for you guys.
SE must think we're stupid, if they think we'll believe that crap. A FFVII remake would be a dream come true, but SE doesn't have the chops to pull it off... It's too bad, cause if a developer with balls took on a FFVII remake, it could be a masterpiece.
It's probably for the best though, SE would turn FFVII into a big long corridor with ultra flamboyant voice acting. I can see Barret now "That's just what real HEROES like me DO!"
The title should be "Still No Final Fantasy Versus XIII Update" . Thanks for wasting my precious time.
What do paint chips taste like??
