To fishy and king: Yes! When games start to dwindle i can see the point. But untill then let people play on equal terms with the same fps, resolution (i know mid-gen fucks this up, but im against that to) and bugs. If everything just dwindles you could just scrap competition altogether, have only one console. Or scrap consoles and just have pc.
I understand why some people advocate for cross play, and thats by no mean wrong. My biggest problem is that the gaming media is 10...
Why then have diffrent platforms? Do we want games that last forever, in that studios dont move on to diffrent projects. That gaas becomes the norm?

Both games looked pretty weak after longer gameplay where shown!
Anthem looks great on all consoles and especially on PC. But thats not really its problem!

Im just thinking that there are circumstances that makes it a bad comparision. Economic state of the world might be diffrent, competition might be diffrent etc.
