I will buy it day one because i like gaming. And this goes hand in hand with that hobby :)
No, nobody is forced to buy them. Every game will work on both consoles (If rumors are true). I dont see any problem.

The headline should have been AMD hints at reduced costs to manufacture Ps4/Xone. Then they could have argued in the article that it would lead to cheaper consoles for the consumers. But that is speculation.

Haha, no. Current gen consoles cant do 4k gaming, atleast not with any resemblance of deceant framerate.
I rather play Battlefront, atleast for now. Maybe Halo will draw me back in the long run. But for now ill put Battlefront before Halo. The lack of content in Battlefront may however sway me back towards Halo.

One would hope it looks good on PC on high, because the requirments are pretty high. Latest iteration of I5, 16Gb Ram and gtx970 are recommended.
