The difference between Gold and Beta is that the gold build doesn't have all the bugs the beta build does. BF fanboys are in denial if they think BF3 looks better than Crysis 2 (on consoles at least).
The graphics from the beta are going to be the same as the graphics in the retail game. Only performance (framerate online and maybe DICE fixes screentearing), and bugs are fixed.

The game doesn't look as good (on consoles) as all the hype claimed it to be. Crysis 2 smashes this as the best looking multiplat. For those using the old "Its a beta, wait for the full game"

because Fable 1 is better known for its gameplay than its story. It wasn't memorable at all tbh.
That's why I find them boring. They don't encourage you to play as an assassin. You don't have to be stealthy to play the game and you aren't rewarded if you are. The combat is piss easy, as soon as you get counter kill unlocked. Just stand still, wait for an attack then counterkill. Some enemies can't go down like that, but they are usually the slow kind that you can easily doge and take out. I find it disturbing that I can easily take down the 15 people trying to kill me...
Do you know how many things they are adding to the game? It isn't just a 'patch'. They are adding interior view for ALL the standard cars, meaning the age old "Well Forza has interior view for everything' argument will be moot
