All the map packs were $3.99 if bought separately, totaling just under $12.00. STILL costs less than the 4 BF3 maps...

Every campaign is scripted. I don't see the point of this assumption. the only game trying to break out of it is Skyrim with the radiant AI system. That's pretty much the only game that isn't scripted (well it still is anyway)

2. DICE managed to make the game look like one from the PS2 era if you don't install the texture pack on the 360 :p

be the other way around. Games originated with NO MP. MP is something that took storm THIS GEN. That doesn't change the fact that what's supposed to give a game its identity is the SP portion. MP is always supposed to be looked at as a bonus. You ever notice that the highest rated games this gen are all SP based? Mass Effect, Uncharted, GTAIV, GOW, Gears, Super Mario etc..
Reviewers would be more lenient if the game had NO SP because that would only leave the MP to be...

I like that Jim didn't give them a pass for poor SP and coop. If the game is MP only (basically) make it that way. It also doesn't help that the console versions are halfassed compared to the PC version. Not saying 64 people could fit on consoles, but the graphical glitches on consoles isn't making it any more appealing to play. I wouldn't give it a 7.5 but a 9+/10 it is not.

literally is ripped from Black Ops. How the whole thing is set up with you playing as a guy being interrogated and playing through the guys memories. Uninspired is the perfect word to describe it, because the SP is as creative as Conan's comedy. I've yet to play the MP but the campaign is underwhelming. I await people to say that BF isn't about Sp so its okay for it to be shitty and get a pass.
