Listen I love Oblivion to death, but that difficulty scaling, facial textures, animations (when you run in third person, it looks like you are moving in spot and the WORLD is moving under your feet) and main story are nothing to marvel at. I expect Skyrim to be 1000x better just from the previews.
I can see why UC3 can be this person's G.O.A.T. ND is an amazing dev and by all the 10/10's I've been seeing, I have no doubt its an one of a kind experience.

People hate it but have no reason to. Open world, much more content and side quests than any other FF game all with fighting in real time with enemies on screen. My personal best FF game. (Yes I played all of them from FFVI except FFVIII and FFX-2)

I think its because games cost $60 plus tax and no one wants to waste time and money buying a game they know nothing about. COD on Veteran. They don't make the AI smarter, they just make them cheap to give the illusion that they got 'harder'. They see you from places where you can't see them, even if you are planning an ambush on enemies coming your way, they will immediately do 360 headshots on you once you fire at them. All that BS

EA are. Every game should do it then. For other devs, they simply give reviewers a list of problems that are to be patched day one so they aren't worth mentioning in reviews. What would GT5 be scored if they delayed reviews until they were completely satisfied?
It takes exactly 7 body shots, or 5 headshots to kill someone with the AK. Go to the NaughtyDog forums for proof. Try making micro adjustments while aiming to make sure you are ACTUALLY hitting the person.

Probably a fix to the online pass problem fir splitscreen online in R3 and future games supporting online passes and splitscreen online. You'd have your pass deactivate and then have to buy a new one again. The only alternative was to play as a guest account (as opposed to signing in with another PSN).
Well, judging from all the 10's and shit UC3 is getting, I'd say a lot of people enjoy it more than other TPS's that released this year.
