So they expect people to play through the whole 12 hour campaign with no save? I would have prefered if the mode came with at least one save at the midpoint of the game
@4sh0w
I don't think you get it. They LITERALLY said they are trying to emulate the old Roman battle tehiniques. Here are some direct quotes from what I was talking about
"He [Marius] is not flamboyant, he's not a ninja. He's a soldier"
"We actually worked with an expert on Roman fighting and combat strategies to get us some knowledge on how to handle weapons and shields"

Not saying the game sucks off of that gif but they said several times they are trying to replicate realistic combat in the game and then they include finishers like the one above lol
I don't see how that's cherry picking
Kinda offtopic, but they said they were aiming for realism in the combat and we see him literally toss a guy in the air with one arm and chop his arm off in midair in that gif
You can tell the difference between a 1080p and 720p video easier than you can tell the difference between a 30FPS game and a 60FPS one
Did you guys read the whole thing?
He said only people that regularly game on the PC would notice the difference. If you're a console gamer playing games at 30FPS for 7 years, you'll barely notice the upgrade.
In most cases, it isn't even necessary. Like people crying that Ryse isn't 60FPS when its not a fast paced action game to begin with
Its the reason KZ SF's SP is 30FPS (to focus more on the effects and other areas o...
It makes perfect sense and this method was probably used in KZ2 as well because you'd notice the things listed as happen in game
For instance, instead of having every one connect to a session master like in COD, whose console handles everything (damage, movement etc) each individual uploads that data to the server from their console. Why is that better?
For one, this means that if YOUR connection is bad, only YOU will suffer for it. In KZ2 you'd see s...
Naughty Dog chose not to
They said that "they wanted the games online to run ass long as people wanted to play it" and Sony shuts down servers for games with very very few users online
I don't know why though, I'd imagine a healthy amount of people still play it, and even a game like Resistance 2 only has a couple hundred playing worldwide and its servers are still up lol
Rarely played Armored Kill
Endgame was alright
I thought the first DLC (the one with Karkland) was the best
Looks pretty much the same
Old build had a better colour palette for the faces and armor though

WHY DID THEY MAKE A PS+ SALE FOR SOTC THEN GIVE IT AWAY ON PS+ TWO MONTHS AFTER
I BOUGHT THE GAME FOR NO REASON
Lol that is true
I was talking in terms of the ones that would be worth actually playing
The Division, Watchdogs both look way more exciting then this
This is probably the least exciting Ubi game they announced for next gen
Screenshots aren't really good especially when they come from the dev themselves. As a link someone posted above said, they photoshop some of their released pics
^
They said all future map pack DLCs was free
The coop MODE is paid DLC with its own set of maps.
Yeah, the problem with using someone like Sutherland for Snake in North America is that many of us know him as Jack Bauer, and making him play the role of another action hero and sounding like Jack Bauer isn't a good thing
All I picture in my head when I hear him talk are past episodes of 24 :/
And he looks like George Clooney
Wow I thought that voice was touched up or something. Didn't know he just sounded like that
I don't like that you can tag people and have them be seen through the walls and that slow down thing everytime you get discovered.
Looks straight out of Splinter Cell
That'll just make both degrade in quality or both end up having microtransactions and preorder cut out content in order to pay for the larger dev teams needed to make a next gen game every year
