How did the franchise get a fanbase if the first sucked?
The first was a new IP so games like Uncharted, InFamous, Batman AA etc.. now have an established fanbase because the first game was awesome.

Can easily be done. Just needs dev time and a dev team.
because they made HANDHELD GAMES. Sony was too ambitious with the PSP titles. They tried to get devs to make console quality titles on a small weak system.
I think about it like this.
I can play the Megaman Battle Network games for a while and have fun
I can play the pokemon games and have fun
They are small titles that provide quick action and don't have cutscenes and voice acting and all that. They are portable games....
be surprised if the game is a major steaming pile of crap
For me at least, I imagine how long I'd see myself playing a particular game. COE looks like a game that I would play once or twice then never again.
just buy it new and you get the Beta. But it doesn't really matter, we all get PS+ for a month and all PS+ users get the Uncharted 3 beta early....
the balance issues, MW2 ran fine on PS3. Black Ops was terrible with lag, hit detection and balance. All IW needs to do is balance the game better and add split screen online and I'm buying.
Every FF game got bigger and bigger, than FFXIII came and changed that. No towns, less weapons, less summons, less side quests than FFXII a PS2 game. -__-
The battle system wa bad. At a certain point in the game (I think its after you get to Gran Pulse) EVERY monster requires you to get them into critical hit mode before you can even DAMAGE the damn things. It makes battle tedious and boring. Especially when you are facing enemies that are too weak to kill you but require 3-5...

they are CODifying the franhise. They are supposed to only have one spinoff then continue the series.
there are like ZERO console games running at 1080p. The 360 upscales games to make it say 1080p even if the game doesn't support it. And wth is 1080p+?

Those that claimed the 60 player TDMs are clusterfucks needs to learn how to play. Better yet, add me and I'll play with you. All the good players happily pick off all the idiots running into the action guns blazing as if you can't flank the other team because they are busy fighting 20-30 other people.

I never really feel hungry while playing. I can game for hours in the summer and eat like once or twice a day.
had them. You don't get the reward from getting a killstreak, but by rather obtaining a certain amount of points. You can get this by getting kills, doing objectives etc.. You can then activate them at anytime. They also generally don't kill the enemy for you (only the shock thing that the noobs use, Pulse Cannon and LAARK damage enemies)
Invisibility, take less damage, ammo boxes that give extra bullet damage (the game didn't have COD health so its not that bad...

innovation in this field has to be small (i'm talking FPSs only) players are used to a certain way to play, and don't expect completely different experiences when going from game to game. (Like in a RPG, Dragon Age, to a FF game is completely different)

Bad execution. Basically an RPG stlye DBZ (makes sense right? They fight get stronger?) The only thing was that the characters weren't unique enough, they all basically had the same moves, and the abilities were basica and underwhelming.
If a proper RPG was made where you got all the 5 cities, the World Tournament Island, the Tundra (with RRA base), the Forest and Desert the game would be awesome. (With destruction in every area too)
