just because FFXIII sucks doesn't mean they all do. The first ME is a solid 8-8.5/10.
FFVI, FFIX, FFX and FFXII (IMO) are one of the best games ever. (I didn't even finish FF7, didn't think it was that good and the stereotypes and story was childish)

Final Fantasy XII will be better than both FFXIII and FFXIII-2.
It had:
Towns
Large unexplored areas to traverse in between story missions
Great quests
Side story missions
Larger amount of weapons
More mature story (not 'we are going to save the world from bad guy", in FF12 it was about leading a resistance to overthrow the the new government and doing so by finding crystals of power. Pretty interesting)

I haven't played the first for years, and don't really like Halo anymore, but I can still remember the music from Combat Evolved.

They are content with having the same franchises keep the 360 alive and play multplatform games which they claim are superior on their console because a screenshot comparison from LoT told them so.

that's news to me. Although I don't see the point. The MOH released a short while ago was a stripped down BF game, don't see why anyone would play it over BF3 or a next bad company.

For how much? I borrowed UC2 for a friend never played the first. I'd buy the second, but I always see it for like $35-40.

that the older PS3s had some chip (not the same one in the PS2) that was used to try to emulate PS2 games. It was costly, didn't work that well and caused the systems to overheat sometimes.
It raised the price of the PS3s, so they axed it. I'll try to find a link for source.
