at the end of the day if there not publishing the game then they cant tell the dev what to do...
there giving developers more options to use knowing that they can use those features.
For instance every ps4 controller has move attached but the dev cant utilize this without putting in an extra option to ovveride that as not every1 will have the camera therefor no dev will utilize it as its a waste of time and...
same with every console and every game this gen...
i miss the previous gen when nothing could be patched so everything was fine :)
You do realise that one picture on the web was A developer who created the Game LocoCycle and they owned up to it as they hadnt finished porting it and wanted to show it off...

in the UK they sell for £10 cheaper usually and come out at same time... Just places dont stock PC games as much nowadays as u cant trade em in

Android and IOS gamers can both do this hell some people spend thousands of pounds on a single game so they can compete in the online community...
And it wont die but it will get less and less focused on for Triple A titles as piracy is such a big thing on PC.
I could say i constantly play on PC but i could also be meaning i pirate everything on PC...
Thats why they say its dying as the profit you get on a PC versus other platforms is huge.
I would like to see you copy and paste something then get an entirely differnet story with different characters improved Multiplayer features with a ton of more options for competetive play..

This statement is as obvious as saying GTA is never going to go linear world..
People shouldnt have been even asking this question :L and people shouldnt be surprised when they said they wouldnt as it makes absoloutely no sense to change a series for no reason and would possibly ruin it
doenst need to... would ruin the franchise by making it open world... game doesnt fit that style of play

In theory and from Adverts open world games seem more fun but then when you get into it its get old real fast...
open world games are big for the sake of being big with nothing interesting between points and even if there is there can only be so much and then it will get the same events over and over and will just be a grind

Far as i know nobody X1 has RROD yet.... so far they have a 100% un failure rate as the console is not out!
So they could get such a lil power for 1 year wait and millions of lost millions of sales on top of that?

so what? u compare that to farmville runescape etc and those numbers are tiny in comparsion to the dev costs for each of those
u will see a shift in how games are made and marketed as the profits are hard to get and very risky
