creating million poly models is easy but getting them to render and be dynamic in a real time environment wont be possible..

ps3 at launch sucked ballz and it was only like 4 years in it started to pick up some speed

Game was no where near a 9... it suffered from alot of things and it is one of the better titles on vita ( not exactly a seeling point but yeh )
THe main issue with the game is alot of the sidequests are the same and not really all that engaging to do..
controls arnt great either with some of the buttons being hit and miss.. also i think it was the pipe level trying to find some letter that the poor camera controls and settings really show...

They play CoD games cuz its the "thing" and alot of people play it and its quite a competitive game that allows for fast gameplay..

depednig on money spent yes that could mean a flop...
Gta 4 i think had what $100m dev costs.. even if they got the full retail price if it only sold 1m it wouldve lost a lot of money...
Ps all stars didnt have that budget but games like these cost an arm and a leg to make and if it didnt mak ea sizable profit it has failed...

how would sony lose money over this? if they didnt fund it they could only gain money by selling the licence..
but what u fail to see is that if this did make alot of money for lil development costs, sony would be more than likely to put more funding and more effort into these casual mini games.. that whilst fun to play arnt the audience that is currently enamoured with sony

u pay money ergo games arnt free and u havtn gotton any games from that service but paied sony so u cud temporarilty acess them...

no company treats any of their consumers with any respect... its all about money...
whether its making u reliant on a service to gain rentals to games (ps+) or forcing u to have network features(ps+ and x1)...
you do realise the main value people pay for on ps+ is the discounted games etc as as soon as u stop paying sony there fee they take all there games from you and your left with nothing? if i spent 3 years on ps+ and stopped paying i would of lost $150 ...

But ur still then paying to play ... u wont pay for online but ull pay for temporoy licences that need to be renewed monthly/quartley/yearly etc..

Tbh although on the face of it its good value.. once uve started paying for 3 months ur pretty much forced to keep pay ing forever as those games will just become un-playable...
if i got a multiplayer game on ps+ and i really enjoyed it i would be paying a monthly sub to play that one game..
its a good system to keep players reliant on sony imo.. paying $5 to rent a set of games is terrible... might as well get netflix (pre nerf)..
WHy its for Kids and not for adults... Buy him the startup box for Xmas he then uses his money they get to buy characters / expansions... Bdays comes along they buy another etc etc...
Kids tend to like a certain thing for ages :P and they also like figurines based off movies they have seen.
