u do realise they lock the framerate so it cant drop? well if the develeopr is decent.
and darksiders on ps3 was not fine xD it had issues to :P and it was because of the bad programming and not because it was to graphical immense
lots and lots of testing is done to achieve this.. aka max effects on screen possible etc
It will look identical if the developers are smart economically..
THere is little point creating 2 seperate versions of the game for near enough same spec Console, as it would be a waste of money unless Sony paid em to do it.
They probz means for current and next gen console.
It does if the sum or those parts is greater than them seperatly.. hell a launch Xbox 360 and Kinect would have you equalling out at the same price as an Xbox 1.
FOr instance a TV is 400 and a dvd player is 200... But together you pay 500... even if the TV was terrible and the Dvd player broken this is good value cause you have saved £100..
Quality of goods is irrelavent.. Otherwise things like Beats (headphones) and Macs etc would all be the best value ...

but tbh as is the main reason people are saying... you dont buy a console to watch netflix etc you buy it to play games and surly to get most out of ur games u need the membership to play online so Surly this point holds no relevance as youd be paying for it either way?

and tbh although the games you are recievings RRP price is above the subscription there mainly old games that dont sell anymore.. Sure u get the odd beta (litereally the best thing) but thats really it... everything else is just trash wrapped up to look pretty.

Ah i remember around a year ago when every1 was using Paid Online as there num1 reason why Ps3 was > Xbox 360...

Yep but as soon as u got another ps3 / ur old one broke u were out of a game lol ( assuming all copies were used up )

If the friend isnt to interested in playing with each other then its fine.
Also if the game has online leaderboards then this is a way you can compete with each other using one copy.
BUt what ms is saying really is that if you want to play 2 copies of a game at one time then u need 2 copies but this game can be shared anywhere at anytime which is pretty amazing. Dont even have to pick it up! and never that feeling its the last time ur gonna see that disc :P
This is why they can allow this feature to exsist though.
By making multiplayer fun and making others wish to play with friends they can allow ease of minds to publishers that this feature wont be easily exploited and in turn create a confined economy of people selling 'family' status on an account with tons of games.
and fyi ur example of accounts also created on taht system also mean that only 1 player have access to ps plus as you can only use one ...
Tbh it sounds complicated but with the right menu system this could be a breeze with a walkthrough setting it up.
IF lets say there was a "Sharing" Menu where you could see the 'family' members and just click to see what games you Could play of theirs at that time then it wouldnt be complicated at all.
Especially if all you need is a gamertag and the other persons approval to set it all up.
lol that means jack if they dont max it out 100% on every game ever.
Hell even now devs state not all the power of ps3 has been used..
I doubt early lauch titles will even reach 75%...
My Pc has more ram does that mean my copy of CoD will look better? Ofc not lol..
ps4 multiplat will look identical to the X1 as developers and publishers are smarter than people like you :) dont waste resources on petty things like that
