it baffles me to hear people talk like this about dx12 when it comes to pc and x1 and i'll explain why.
these consoles are exactly like the pc when it comes to the architecture. the only difference is that the consoles hardware is static (meaning it can't be changed out for upgraded hardware). (so with that said, dx12 will work just fine as it's being touted.)

that's all the x1 has been doing since it's release. the crap storm happened in the reveal and most of it's issues was corrected before the release of the console. then there was the price issue which was addressed and fixed with the creation of a kinecless sku and then with an official price drop from 399 to 349 (kinectless) 499 to 449 (kinect included). then there's the resolution propaganda. now there's a lot that i can say about this desperate ploy/trick that some choo...
there's more to kinect then games and controlling games. in fact, i like all of the other things that it does over controlling games, like full system navigation and i like the possibilities of it's future. i can't wait to see how windows 10 and cortana will change the xbox console and kinect and how both system and person interact with one another.

im a huge halo and gears fan and ive gotta agree with you 100% on that stance. i wouldn't buy either if it wasn't ever gears game on one disc or 20 bucks for one. every game would have to have a true remastered design to it like the halo master chief collection as well. that 1080p 60fps crap wont cut it. a redesign from the ground up is the only way with the inclusion of 1080p 60fps and all of the map packs included for every gears game.

microsoft just wants to surprise us. why not just let them? stop all of the fishing and speculating and let them do their jobs. phil has been doing a very good job so far, so im ok with what he decides. he can announce it now, or wait to surprise us. it doesn't matter to me either way. all i can say is that i hope that it's true and i hope that phil, black tusk, and the entire microsf/xbox team keeps up the good work.
the game actually looks really good, but i think drive club looks better. (just my personal opinion)
im glad the game is fixed, but it never tarnished the brand or developers in my eyes. im a huge halo fan and as long as you rectify the problem, im ok. i don't hold grudges :) good work microsoft and 343 industries. now i can get back to my halo fix as intended :)
