if used game sales are hurting the publisher, and i believe many publisher benefit more from used sales than it ever costs them what with trade ins going towards new purchases and preowned income allowing shops to cut into their profits to sell games lower than the rrp, if they believe these sales are hurting them, they should go after the retailers, but they know they can't, they can't afford to piss off the retailers.
so they shaft the customers, because they've...
such a shame they never finished and released ghost, from what i've seen of it it looked like a quality title.
you have to wonder why they just shut down such a promising looking title.
can't wait for those.
end sarcasm mode. :)
you know, it's not rape if he consented to it.
that was pretty good, shame they had to put a bloody QTE in there, but fun otherwise.
the fact you you don't even get a playable character slot for you sub fee is the biggest frakking piss take of all with this game, you get a free retainer that will keep your in game shop open for you but if you want to play the game you have to pay an extra fee on top of the sub, and you have to pay it every frakking month.
if this so called game is still running in a year i will be not only surprised but dissapointed.
there's no fast travel in the g...
in game advertising isn't a problem if it's done properly, look at any racing game, they're absolutely full of in game ads, but they work perfectly because they mirror the way the ads are on real race tracks, and they're appropriate to the game, so they're tyre ads or ads for oil or cars.
and football games have advertising round the pitch like real stadiums do.
and open world games could have billboards in game advertising real products a...
i'd say there's zero chance of seeing alundra and/or arc the lad on the eu store this week, or any time soon for that matter.
scee don't localise the games, the developer does, and they did it already, the us version apparently has all the language options already.
the trouble is once scee gets their hands on it it's like going on a flyover of the bermuda triangle, things just disappear for months at a time.
just look on the blog, they say the dev never submitted it and the devs say it's in QA, in any other business there's no way you could get away with running a co...
looking at it one way, maybe it will actually be a decent game by the time the ps3 version is finished.
but i doubt it.
i cant see any video of that dance game from e3 without hearing guile's sf2 music in my head. :)
amazing, how is that even possible though?
i thought that despite everything libp was still essential a side scroller, how did somebody create a seemingly 3d environment?
and just what else is this title capable of?
more than a few game of the year awards for 2011 coming for media molecule methinks.
sounds to me like the "researchers" already had an opinion and were trying to conduct an experiment to get the results that fitted their views, pretty much the opposite way you're supposed to conduct science.
hey, bushman and gibson, i know you probably won't be reading this, but in the offchance that you are, i recommend you give this a look.

modnation racers on psp had an online pass type thing.
and i bet lbp 2 will be the first ps3 game with such a system, which will no doubt include the user content as well as online play, which hardly ever worked well enough to bother with in the original anyway, if so, i will never buy it new, and a game like that without user content is hardly worth bothering with.
and there is no way preowned games are anything like piracy, that's just propaganda by pub...
well, he would say that seeing as rare's sole purpose now is churning out kinect content it seems.
but he's right, you don't need buttons, but without them you seriously limit what you can do, especially with a device that can't read what your hands and fingers are doing.
seriously, ball your hands into fists, which is pretty much how kinect sees you, and keep them that way, and then try to do, well, anything.
how'd that t...
no, just no.
is it a good idea to microwave it?
and if it's anything like fallout 3 those numbers will pale into insignificance compared to the number of bugs.
it's DDR right?
developers developers revolution. :)
the physics are just off in this game, sonic doesn't have the momentum he did in previous games.
considering how long it takes to get sonic up to speed it feels like he weighs a ton, yet the hit slightest obstacle and he stops dead.
it just feels wrong.
all in all, it looks and feels like a flash game, a real dissapointment.
i'm not paying a tenner for like three hours of gameplay.
