Keep grinding them teeth then, because I'm getting both. I'm a gamer who just happens to like what Sony and MS have to offer. The only thing cool is to know I can afford both!
I think both companies will have awesome 1party exclusives. We already know that Sony is all set on that end, but MS has been active on their own exclusives for the next gen move. This is a wait and see for me. I want to say MS won't have to many exclusived then next thing you know they have a whole bunch to compete with Sony. Timed exclusives worked for MS and although they have more money I can see the price for a timed exclusive more costly this time around!
Not to mention there have already been rumours of MS doing an Apple style reveal. So it not so far fetched that they show at E3 and then launch a week later. Its just I dont see it happening but that's the good thing about speculations. Just to know that maybe one or both will be out this year is good enough for me!
I think gamers are underestimating MS. But they have a good catalog of IPs that they can rehash for the next gen and also add new ips that will further help them. I just hope MS doesn't gimp on its efforts, I know that they're not blind, they notice all the buzz PS3 gets from their exclusives. Going into next gen they know they need to step it up in one way or another.

Man you need to do some research. Xbox division still in the red at a lil over 3 million. Now this debt is from xbox overall since the xbox1. Xbox 360 is making a profit for them now it just doesn't reflect that.
Xbox makes a fraction of what MS makes as a whole. They are a Software company and make 90% from that.
You may be right maybe this time around PS4 will be in the lead not that I care because I'm buying both. But I think you underestimate Kinect when it come to kids. My kids don't want a PS4 they want kinect 2 cause believe it or not theirs a lot of kinect kids games and dance games. The xbl has that kinect sesame street app dude that shit it gonna sell. I have to buy 2 next box and 1 PS4. ..damn them new consoles hurts my pockets..

How you figure they pulled a fast one on MS when Kaz announced" Let MS come out first", was already after Major Nelson had put the countdown up for their own reveal. These companies already had their set days for a while now. Reveals and probably have them in our hands for the holidays. I'm definitley preordering day 1!! After doing some research right now I can tell you the system will not be called PS4. The Japanese skip 4 as it sounds to similar to death and the 9 because it to familiar with the word suffer. This superstition is not only in Japan but other Asian countries aswell and its called Tetraphobia. Take it easy.
