See what I don't understand is how people make the biggest deal out of dumb shit. If you don't want to play kinect games, Don't! You don't have to use any of the entertainment apps if you don't have to. Nextbox will be 1st and foremost a gaming console. Just like the PS4, its trying to make things easier for gamers, making things we normally use when were not gaming accesible thru your game console. You want to watch movies, listen to music, check your FB, Twitter, Insta...
They probably will remember they have their LIVE Events app and there will probably be reminders on XBL.

I don't know, I mean if your trying to justify Sonys move I can't agree. I mean Sonybots spent a lot of time hating on Kinect and now we hear from QD that Sonys wants MOVE intergration with almost every game and its cool!
I guess we just have to accept that its just another way to play games and get used to it. its possible we will see games just for MOVE too. This has now gotten more interesting as all consoles will push motion and remote play more!
Honestly I know for me and what I've seen so far...I wouldn't mind paying $500-$600. That's just me tho.
PSbots can't let it go can they. You get your glorious day and then decide to compare PS4 graphics to WiiU. As if we havent written off Wii U as a next gen console along with a quite a few developers and publishers!

Ok that's all cool, but not every gamer is gonna use the features. I know I'm not uploading vids or spectating on a friends games. I'm hoping I can turn a lot of the features off. I don't want friends just dropping in on my game sessions. Both Sony and MS are gonna have great consoles and both will get my $$$.
Your right Gaikai will let you play PS1, PS2 and PS3 games but is it FREE? I think Sony is gonna charge for it! Either way Sony already has my $$ day one and MS too if they play their cards right.

I like the innovation, but ill be tweaking a lot of the privacy settings. Seems like gaming can get quite intrusive!!

Hopefully this works out for MS, just don't forget the hardcore gamers. Only thing is I wish is that Kinect wasn't heavily pushed because they make it seem like its the only way to play on xbox. I just want to sit and relax play a game and smoke a blizz. I can't do all that jumping around and shit. All that being said I'm still buying one, just not for Kinect!

The problem is I've played 80% of the games on your list already. I have PS+ and only download the games I haven't played. Its not like there giving you newly released titles. Not taking anything away from FREE games tho, keep em coming. Free online and "Free games rental" are the only thing making it better than XBL at the moment. Easy fixes that MS can do, but probably won't.

I also have both console and both services and there's more connection issues on PSN than on XBL. To me the COD games run better on Xbox too. Also since I pay for both xbl and ps+ maybe Sony should give me some money back from my fee for all the downtime PSN has had.(although. They always do give us something for any inconvinience). Compare service downtime between XBL and PSN, its not even close. PSN has been down more times than XBL has since it was created!
I think Kojimas development team always gets my money! One of the best developers in History of gaming! I hope the game makes it out with everything intact.
