Right so this is good but Ryse looks "crap" ? Both look very similar to me besides premise and gameplay...
There both same level of CGI Graphics when it comes to both Gameplay and Cinematics... Ryse was bit boring gamelay wise and this game looks to be the same... I don't think CGI graphics are worth it if it can only supply basic game mechanics and boring gameplay... not worth it to me...

If the option was Medium settings @1080p with 30fps against High Settings @900p(794p for x1) with 30fps... I'd pick the Higher Visuals with lower res every time, no point sacrificing Visuals for resolution...
In fairness to your point there is a lot of console developers saying nothing but great things about DX12 for the console...
I completely agree with christocolus, DX12 will provide the efficiency of OpenGL to the Xbox One and a recent article from Gamingbolt stated that DX12 provides the console proper use of Tiled Resources too. I cant wait to see the results.

If it's not Palmer, Cortana or chief in new armor(which I doubted cause it wud have been a drastic change) or even a woman, I think it may be a robot spartan battle suit to replace the spartan IVs constructed and produced by the UNSC Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) cause of the insignia on the armor, would explain why they were interrogating Palmer in Halo 4... or it could just be a completely new protagonist (playable ?) or antagonist...
