I assume Sony doesn't allow cross play because player counts for PS4 for a specific game would be higher than several other platforms combined. Why put in the extra work if the player base is always high for online? Maybe on other platforms in terms of finding an online match on Xbox or Switch is harder thus cross play has been focused on those platforms

I don't mind having the PS5 next year if the specs justify a generational leap. For example if the pro is 2 times the power of a ps4, ps5 should be at least be 5 times more powerful than a regular ps4 or 3 times more powerful than a pro (I want the ps5 to be 5 times more powerful than a pro but it seems unlikely)
MS should just finally come out admit that cloud power was fake, multiplayer destruction looked amazing but it's been 4 years with no word of a release date

Next gen is about a year or 2 away but they still remastering old games. Not even Remaster from ground up like Bluepoint but up res PC ports with the effort of making the morning cup of coffee.
