How can an adaptation be original?
I thought it was a prequel about what happened to those foreign people from the first one who found the thing, you know, those two guys who were trying to kill that dog at the beginning of the movie.
Actuall the story of gears isn't that. the story is humans came to the locust's planet. The locucts fought back against the "surface dwellers" for coming in and using up all of the planets resources. Kind of a different take on an alien invasion when the aliens turn out to be the humans. The fact that people don't see this simple fact shows that people don't care about stories in games anymore. Alma from Ninja Gaiden is my most frustrating. Took me 4 straight hors to defeat her the first time you fight her.
And I had no clue that you could skip The End. I just ran around until he shot at me. Then I knew where he was from where the bullet came from. Then I used my goggles to find him in the bushes and then shot him and did that until he died.
And Zeus? I beat the guy in one try (and no I wasn't on easy mode). Yeah he was hard, but he wasn't frustrating.

And apparently you don't know that it didn't start on nintendo. Nintendo got the altered MG (a port in which kojima had no part in) and the horrible Metal Gear 2: Snakes Revenge which is non-canonical and kojima had no part in. The MSX2 is where it started with Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake.

Wow, this article was bad. This person wants it to be an open world game with less action? This person has apparently never played a game by hideki kamiya.
The article says it doesn't want qte's (oh no, the game made you press "X" every once in a while) and no retro minigames but doesn't want the game to have as much action. Really? Has this person never played a H/S game before?
That's why I liked heavy rain. You choices and how well you were able to do in fights/chase scenes and other events decided what happened to your chracter.
I loved K&L. I think 2 was great, except the game was too short and I really had no clue what was happening. But that level where you are running around all cut up, and bloody, and NAKED! That was crazy.
