Not ever game needs multiplayer. But if they can somehow do it right I wouldn't be opposed to it. But survival horror shouldn't have other people, it's about being alone.
New IP. What is the trend with doing a series until people don't want it anymore? Why not just make a good games and let them be? Sequels upon sequels until it gets stale shouldn't be the reason a developer makes a new IP. Yeah, infamous 1 and 2 were great, that's good, doesn't need to keep going because of that. Let series go out on high notes, don't let them be remembered as the series that got stale due to way too many.

Let's look, enslaved was based off a book and Heavenly Sword was the typical "Person sacrifices themself to save clan, she wasn't the hero the people wanted, but the one they needed".
And none of the characters they created were good, except the villain in Heavenly Sword, but that is done purely by Andy Serkis' amazing acting skills rather than anything NT could do.
