"Franchises are often rebooted"
Those franchises are usually ones that needed a reboot. They were old and jumping into a new era. A game franchise that started in 2001 isn't old and doesn't need a reboot just because the team thinks it "wasn't cool enough". This one didn't need a reboot.

You gotta try the two DLC's. Okay, the first one wasn't that great but the second was really good. And unlike most DLC's these actually expand the story and set up a sequel rather than map packs and the like.
That doesn't mean it's gonna be an exclusive though. I don't care if it is or isn't because I will still play it but people just seem to assume. Insomniac loved Sony and now they are making a multiplat. EPIC has done multiplats before too. Just because they like working with someone doesn't = exclusive. And some companies have stated that they hate MS practice of business, although it is usually from the Indie devs, who should get no less respect.
Alan Wake is not survival horror. It is a Psychological Action Thriller. Do people not read the box? jkjk
Why would sony have to pay for a multiplat. And I doubt that Epic would want to be bound to one console/company again by a contract. And please make full game, don't try and plan a trilogy from the start and end with a cliffhanger.
That's like saying each final fantasy is a new IP. It still has a similar concept/theme just in a different world.

Most Epic but not the best? Hmmm... I would choose:
1. Mundis from DMC1, fighting the prince of hell in outer space, then in lava, and then underground is crazy in scale
2. Zeus from GOW3, you fight him fighter style, then normal, then inside gaia, then in first person, the multiple tiers already make that one epic
3. The Queen from Gears 3, the fact that the fight was so intense with the tower and storm flashing all over the place and how the queen JUST WOULDN'T D...

Ya, that's true, I just meant normal crime not like crazy people who suit up and go on a mission type thing.
Uhh... the police force is there so that every time someone doesn't get what they want they don't just start a rebellion like Shay's Rebellion where the state needed to call on local militia. And police have access to info that we don't that could help in certain situations and they also have numbers. Try and "defend yourself" when a group robs a bank that your in, are you gonna go all Point Blank on them?

You saw the conclusion in DMC1. Vergil blew up. He's dead. I don't get why people think he is still alive. HE BLEW UP! And he dropped his amulet which didn't happen the first few times he beat him. And no, Nero isn't Vergil and Vergil isn't in Nero's arm. Nero got the arm after he was attacked by demons. End of saga.
