I know firsthand, all i had for the longest was just a wii. You can link all day long to metacritic showing how high the 1st party game score, but the number of games worth playing compared to what is on the 360 or ps3 is a shame for gamers.
the wii does suck, i like the virtual console but even that doesn't get updated with many of the games that i want. The author is right in saying that there is tons of potential but Nintendo really has abandoned its core fan base.
the cartridge format was more expensive than cd based and plus a cd can hold so much more than a cartridge. Nintendo survived on 1st party games for the N64 and GameCube. The N64 games aren't overrated, i think the system itself is, but nintendos games were great, wave race 64, pilotwings 64, goldeneye, mario kart, etc.

I thought it was obvious that an UC2 would come out. I was hoping for a re2 remake but oh well. Capcom isn't a bad development studio they are just making games for the systems that are pushing the envelope further as far as graphics go. im giving you a bubbly just cause your so blantantly in love with the 360 and i think its hilarious. Killzone2 is a great game, you obviously have never played it. I've beat the sp campaign and also put about 9 hours in on top of that, which brings me to around 15 AND i still havent gotten to the mp yet. This game rules
im looking foward to this game, i wish it was a tps but after listening to an ign podcast and hear them talk about the developer and how its been in development for over a year im starting to think better about this game. Plus the trailer looks pretty good. Ill probably pick it up cause dead space is awesome on the ps3.
they released one patch so far for a possible online error and to remove experience gained from fighting against bots offline, people were stat padding. The single player campaign plays completely fine, and i have had zero problems with mp.
