I think it's gonna be a solid game "guided" shooter or not. The people that are complaining about the gameplay style i think are the ones who haven't played dead space on the ps3 or 360. The atmosphere in the game is what made it so great. a dual layer blu ray disc holds 50gigs. That is a great thing for gaming. Also, the ps3 has plenty of good games, but i don't want to start a flame war so i'll just leave it at that.
All the systems have their positives and their negatives.
i'll be the first one to admit that the 360 has it's faults. I haven't bought one nor will i because it's not reliable (RROD). However, the 360 has paved the way for console online gaming. That's the positive thing it will be remembered for.

I wish sega would stop making awful 3d sonic games and just make a 2d game with a similar style to this, 3d style characters with gorgeous hand drawn backgrounds.
i think sales will pick up a little after wii sports resort is out, but i dont think it'll pick up a ton. That is unless the game is packed in with the wii, which im not sure if it will be or not. As for mh3, weren't those games huge in japan on the psp? I've never known them to be huge in North America, i actually only know one person who owns a mh game. Like i said, i could be wrong about the game being huge in NA.
that game looks awesome. Even though the american film was garbage. The pictures kinda remind me of siren: blood curse on the psn. I wonder if the game will be strictly first person, hopefully it's not on rails. It doesn't look like it though. I really hope this comes to North America, i absolutely love horror games.
Nice, i hope that is true. I beat dead space i think in a little less than 12 hours, the pacing was perfect. That would be nice if this game is the same length. I know RE:UC was really long for an on rails, i easily put in over 10 hours into that game, that's almost unheard of for on rails, HOTD 1-3 (im not sure about overkill) could be beaten in an hour or so.

I'm not a fanboy to any company. If anything im an avid supporter of nintendo. NES, SNES, numerous gameboys, n64,gamecube, DS fat, DS lite. All i had the last 2 gens was a n64 and a gamecube. Also i bought the wii on launch day and had it for 2 years before buying a ps3. dead space is one of the best looking games i've ever seen. The opening scene when you ship pulls up to the ishimura is truly incredible. Porting it over to the wii would take alot of the steam if not all of it out of the environments. I don't know anything about game development but i'd imagine that the game being "guided" has to be helpful with making the game look as good as it does. Same with darkside chronicles. That game looks extremely good too and it's another on rails.

The xbox live community has so many screaming tweens on it, cursing and dropping racial slurs like there's no tomorrow, it's so annoying.
I'm so glad the ps3 doesn't come with a head set, i've never had any problems with people screaming and cursing at each other on psn. Usually everyone is either not talking, ha, or just talking about anything and having fun.

on another note, i see stacks of wii's everywhere i go and i really doubt that the wii will see a price cut anytime soon. Look at nintendo's games, they never drop in price. Plus the wii isn't even competing against the 360/ps3.
