Its not like we dont know what the three will be. One will be the treyarch title (prob cod viet) there will probably be a wii or ds title (which dont count) and then prob mw3 at the end of next year. so in reality 2 titles which we already knew were coming out anyway.

people who whine about the cost of sc2 havent even seen the length of the single player, yet they want to complain about the cost. How bout you wait till the game comes out to see how long it is before you whine? You only need to spend 60 to get access to all the multi, and there has been no confirmation of a monthly fee (unless you live in russia).

1) Every job has a nocompete clause in it. Hell even my sales job does. Merely talking to EA would have been enough to give Activision rights to instantly terminate both of them.

2) Activision has the Blizzard cash cow, which btw doesnt seem to be forced to push out games on deadlines, so I fail to see how IW would have been the same way. Given the crap IW pulled on the PC Gaming side of the fence, and their refusal even to talk to gamers about it, I dont believe Activision ha...

i got fed some bs line from one gamestop about how first party titles ship later than 3rd party as a response to why their preorder sheet says the 2nd and why my copy isnt there yet.

Its exactly all the idiots that are talking about pirating the game that are the cause of things like these. Screw all of you. If you dont like the price, dont buy it. But imo, PC games have long been overdue for a manufacturer to try this, considering the price of pc games has been stable for over 10 years, the price of development has only gone up, and overall sales in general has gone down.

the sad part about ati is that they have good hardware...its too bad their drivers are terrible. you would think after 10 years of consumers complaining about them they would have fixed that issue.

All the idiots who are blaming this on the activision merge obviously have no clue how blizzard operates. Considering SC1 had over 2 years of delays, the delays with sc2 are relatively minor in comparison. Since blizzard (and valves) philosophy on games is the one I happen to agree with most, which is, dont release a game until its completely done (and blizzard has YET to release a crap game) I personally dont care whether it takes to 2011 for them to release sc2. Also i suspect we will be...

considering sc1 did like 1million in the first week in korea when it was launched there, i would not even doubt it could do 2-5 alone in korea.

this is why i buy games on steam.

you also cant fault blizzard as a company.

EVERY, repeat EVERY single game they have released has been good, the only other company that can even come close to that track record is valve.

If you have played after 3.02 you would understand why ret pallys need the nerf. Rogues cant take 3 people on and kill them all without even coming closing to dying, yet thats what is happening for the most part. As for ret pallys, i found mine prepatch to be entirely capable of doing solid dps, however after this patch i do incredible high dps and have way too much burst.

This is standard legal terms for user made content, so sony doesnt get sued for royalties/money for allowing people to use your content that you create. The same legal boilerplate has been in eula's forever, and is basically something to save a company from the screwed up american tort system and all the monkeys looking to make a quick buck. That said, it doesnt say sony is necessarily gonna sell your content, and most companies with this boilerplate usually give credit to the author of it,...

PC piracy took a long time to come about. The primary problem was that developers themselves were what caused most people to get into piracy in the first place. As time went on, PC devs stopped producing shareware and demoes, and started producing more and more junk games that werent worth the disk they were printed on, which sadly still happens to this day. Add to that the bullcrap copy protections like securom, which only hurts legitiment users of the software and does nothing to stop pi...

Every one of these bs articles fails to take into account the licensing revenue as well as first party game revenue. Even if sony/ms made only a dollar per title per copy, the money from licensing alone would be massive, especially for the ps2.

If they dont get game stability fixed fast it wont matter.

Launch Day: PVP scenarios down
Day after launch: 4 1/2 patch to fix what was working for the headstart

That said.

Its a pretty good game, and the pvp is excellent (at least scenario based). Keep sieges can get really really boring though, and pve is non-existant besides pqs and quests (and tbh you can level 3-4x faster grinding scenarios anyway).

I think im gonna stick with w...

DRM is stupid, not to mention hasnt been established legally (for software at least-activation while annoying at least gives you the option to talk to a CSR to find out how to activate if your reinstalling due to failure or crash or whatnot), and considering the failure rate of hard drives, especially SATAs, boggles my mind that EA would do this...again. Didnt they learn their lesson with starforce?
