they kinda have to do it, otherwise they lose the rights to the copyright by default.
sony didnt care about a monetary reward, they will earn more money b/c their console is more secure.
except xbla is completely different from a traditional publisher. It is about the only way to get an indie title on XBL for download.
reviewer clearly has an agenda. How can the game be meh, when compared to every other game in the same genre, it is considered by almost everyone to be one of the finest examples of the trpg genre. The review reflects the reviewer opinion, which tbh is the PROBLEM with most reviews. Your reviewing the game, not giving your friend your opinion of whether or not you liked the title personally. And if you cant get over that, you need to not be reviewing the game.
FFS Activision is JUST THE PUBLISHER...why can people NOT get this through their thick skulls. They have no control over ANYTHING bungie does.
The reviewer clearly DOESNT like the game and is taking it out on his review. From his untrue comments (female characters are all super squishy (see shehulk, tron bonne) and completely useless (amaterasu and pheonix are hardly useless), to his complaints about how he could just cheese opponents (clearly he ISNT playing the same people online that I am), complaints about the super jump system (which is the SAME system that has been used in every vs game ever), its quite clear he has a grudge ...
No, sites get blacklisted because they do lackluster halfass reviews, and then score the game low to generate hits. Personally, I think the game is average about a 7ish, but reading like a 2/10 review where its clear the reviewer has an agenda, I can see why they would blacklist certain sites.
It doesnt, people have way too high an expectation for the game, and while its not as good imo as the 2nd one, its a whole lot less cheesy at times and tbh I cant stop playing it. While I hate the new button layout, it still works very well and is fun as hell to play, especially with friends.
Serious hoax here. already been quite disproved on ars technica, which has adjusted the article.
On a serious note, if this had been true, it would have had MAJOR implications for ALL online retailers. Because it wouldnt have been a problem with sony, it would have meant that someone had completely broken the security of SSL, which would devestate the online retail enviorenment, as well as online banking, etc etc etc.
considering steam did $970m in sales last year, i think this guy is on crack.
your not going to be able to get sc2 used, unless someone is willing to sell your their battle.net account with it.
People really need to reign in their hate for corporate ceos. They have one responsiblity, make money for the company and the shareholders. Period, end of story. Of course they are going to talk about things that are going to make their company money. Its a natural process of business in the world. The sooner people accept it and learn to ignore it, the sooner we will get actual news on this site.
Ive completed the first playthrough and thought the game was excellent personally.
I have the pc version and its actually a quite decent game. Having read the review, it sounds to me like the reviewer fails at using controllers imo.

First, people with dialup should just pony up for better internet. Last time i checked its not that expensive for higher speeds.

That said, steam is one of the best things to happen to the pc gaming scene. Although like many people I disliked it when converting from 1.5 to 1.6 (read downgrading in quality for CS), as a DD network its untouched in terms of quality. At times the offline mode can be frustrating, but the sheer ability to...
mw and mw2 arent the highest grossing games of all time. wow probably holds that distinction by a huge amount followed by the sims.
agreed. starcraft is THE best RTS of all time for a reason, and changing the formula that made it great would be stupid. The beta plays amazingly well, and is relatively balanced.
They no longer work for the company. Also, they are not entitled to bonuses as they were terminated for cause.
Bonuses for employees are traditionally paid in the april to june area by most corporations that make money.
As long as sony was PCI compliant, this case is dead in the water.
