i bought my ps3 as a bluray player initially,i had an xbox360 for games . but guess what now i buy games and im sure others will as well esp. more and more who are gettin a ps3 now because their 360 has crapped out on them.and another point just because a game doesnt sell well at release it doesnt mean it wont sell throughout the cycle of the consoles life, so for all the new playstation3's being sold now its another great title for people to buy no matter what way you xbots try to spin it....
its just been released in the u.k.and if people here are like me they have other commitments coming up to christmas . ill be buying this game next week for sure and im sure it will sell well over the christmas period so a flop? i think not !!!
but i have to say it has stiff competition now . hopefully it can stand proud with a few other of the games in the franchise. not looking too good atm tho.

yes ill admit that there seems to be a lot of ps3s in stock but on the approach to the xmas holiday season thats actually a good thing.at least any1 going to buy one wont be dissapointed when they cant get 1. and another thing as of lately the ps3 is restocking regularly so that means its selling. still think wii own this holiday season tho even if it is in short supply
3 hours to complete .... yea right i dont believe that for a second while the game could have a few improvements ( mainly being able to jump) and be made longer (being brought up to 10 - 12 instead of 8 )i think that the next game will have these improvements and i for 1 am looking forward to see where the story of this game is going.

degradation of environments etc. over a time span and yes i do believe that this will happen in games, they are already using that computer effect in movies, just watch silent hill as crap as it was it will give you the idea.

even if hddvd does win which is highly unlikely blu is still the format for games and as the game outgrow dvd (xbox360)sony will have all of the justification they need for having a blu ray player in the the ps3 because that alone will allow for bigger and better games.
the xbox has a few very good games but good games dont make a good system. if they would just sort out the problems instead of handing out refurbs it would be a worthwhile purchase. its just the hardware is crap and rushed

your ass ? im 34 and everyone i know with a ps3 is in or around that age have families and other commitments. im not saying that younger doesnt buy them or get them bought for them but thats not represented by your demograph analysis.
