i so hope it is the getaway being revived . it was my favourite game on the ps 2 . an instant day 1 buy for me for sure

love the fps genre, my favourite by far. played all the call of duty games this gen starting from 3 right up till black ops. how is brand loyalty stupid ? ive been a fan of sony since ps1 . they have the game franchises i like so i stick with them therefore im loyal. that doesnt mean i dont play other systems or put people down for liking something different than what i like . all fanboys are stupid yes but people who are loyal to a certain system isnt a fanboy.

I get very angry when playing online against cheaters. that is a strong emotion envoked when playing games that i wouldnt get watching a movie or reading a book because they arent interactive. games have already surpassed both them mediums a long time ago. the getaway might not be what gta was but it was a damn good game (moreso the 1st game ) and the story was very good. i for one was looking forward to this gen getaway so was pissed when i found he let this slip for eyepet and home. shame cos i liked phil for his enigmatic ways and enthusiasm for the job but he has made some turkey decisions . good luck with microsoft.

maybe just maybe some ps3 fans actually like halo god forbid. halo is a great game franchise. does it have killzone 2/3 graphics? up till now not even close. we will have to wait and see but i doubt it.
i would love a follow up to primal, great game . also the getaway , come on sony start this up again. and a destruction derby wouldnt be a bad choice either , so many great games yet to have a release this generation. doubt we'll ever see half of them.
yea i agree.. for a 3rd person shooter its a good enough game. fairly solid i say but it is not socom not even in the slightest. confrontation was good after the slightly worrisome start it had up until the cheaters ruined it but it nailed the socom gameplay 100 percent. if they do a hd update i want it to be as well done as the gow remakes and give this game the attention it deserves because it is easily the best socom game. dont change the controls to suit the cod fans keep it like confront...

hell no, while i like resistance and the world created round it , i also like killzone .resistance never did have the polish of the killzone games. 2nd or 3rd party devs just cant get the same out of ps3 that their 1st party devs can. i am sad insomniac wont be continuing the franchise but sony own the ip so id love them to hand the ip to guerilla games to see it how it should be coded using 1st party dev tools and expertize.
exactly ! most of the franchises i grew up with are on the playstation so its gonna be a must buy.however i also like halo a lot so ill get the nextbox as well. im just not buying at the start of the gen because i was already stung withh rrod . if its reliable i will buy the xbox eventually .
i wouldnt mind a haze 2 to be honest now that crytek owns free radical. while not the best fps out there i quite enjoyed crysis 1 + 2 so i would like to see what they could do with haze.
