because britain has one of the highest corporation tax levels in this recession and a lot of major companies are pulling out and going elsewhere or shutting altogether. The world is in big financial trouble atm and those that still have jobs should consider themselves lucky.
yea im not worried in the slightest. as i said each update is getting better and yea the graphics will improve , they usually do in most of the betas i have been in.
the latest update has upgraded the graphics quite a bit but it still doesnt look like this. Its still slightly sluggish to play but is getting better every update. while its not the best shooter Fps i have played its not the worst and best of all we are getting it for free so i would advise anyone that is connected to get this game. Maps are a good big size as well.
enjoyable enough yes i think ill get this game.
i doubt it will happen but i would love to see The Getaway 3. if its not gonna be that then a new socom game made by someone that is going to take it back to its roots and give us a true socom game for this generation.
i doubt its one specific area but my example is pretty even really. my wife is a gamer, casual yes but a gamer none the less. she wouldnt have the time or the interest to play what some would percieve to be hardcore games but does show little interest towards them. she would play pick up and go games and has done since pacman on the atari vcs. that doesnt mean all the women that i know are like that though , we (TNS) socom confrontation on ps3 have 3women on our clan and they even outmatch s...
while i love the uncharted's and think naughty dog is a great dev team i dont think they could pull off socom. it needs to be someone with military experience in gaming. i heard a rumour its guerilla games doing it anyhow and if true im happy enough although i'll always have a soft spot for zipper. shame what happened to them but thats what happens when you try to cater to casuals and miss the market because theyre to busy playing cod ( insert number here ).
guerilla has been working on an unannounced game now for a long time so if it is them doing socom it will be on ps3
guerilla announcing a new socom game ?
i want the getaway and im sure im not alone . cmon sony make it happen.
how in the hell am i trolling , that was a genuine bit of info gave on my behalf . i dont know how true it is but at the same time i wasnt being obnoxious telling n4g about it. me , myself am a bit sceptical about it if it is true because the game has always been in zippers hands except for confrontation which slant six did. I am a huge socom fan and slant six's effort was the most true to socom this gen so far so theoretically geurilla games could do it if theyve transfered the license f...
i heard a rumour , cant remember where though. but i heard guerilla games is doing socom.
your not the only one . i think the first motorstorm was the best only let down a bit by its loading times but still a great game .
zipper is gone yes but sony own the ip. want more socom sony god dammit
didnt really care for trophies tbh. i suppose it adds a extra incentive to play the game more but im the type of gamer that likes to keep fairly up to date on releases and game online a fair bit so i dont spend much time trophy hunting . level 16 with no platinums as yet.
i agree that konami sign in crap was what ruined a great multiplayer game for me . if it was on psn it would be much better.
i agreed also except mine would be working with music . every sound jingle and noise i hear im constantly taking influence from and creating my own. its hard to be unique because theres so much out there but as long as i put my spin on it using my style( like naughty dog do with their games ) im happy enough .
close quarters is better than i thought it would be. the destruction is good and no shotguns arent a problem. i use carbines and im finishing top 3 most games . While its different from usual battlefield maps its a nice change of pace to change things up a bit.
thanx for the insight there mr bun , this seems like a fun way to play instead of going over the same usual routine.
if fighting games want to make it to the next step in realism then this needs to happen. clothing rips and gets torn off in real brawls ( not that im condoning fighting) but it does happen and by todays standard we need deeper realism to get more immersed in said game .
