tried vr in the arcades in the late 80s i think it was. the graphics were crap to say the least but the feeling you got was unlike anything ive ever had since for immersion in a game. im sure by now the graphics have improved so i cant wait for this technology to come. ill be in gaming heaven.

one game for me springs to mind is socom ps2 . the players on this game were/ are hardcore to the bone. it needed dedication and it was /is hard to master but worth the hours put into it. clan member i knew would not think twice about having 3 day gaming marathons at the weekend and practially just ate slept and played socom . thats dedication and thats hardcore

nah the original six axis wasnt transparent it was translucent but yea they changed them when the dual shock 3 came out.

to rainslacker above. its running a fan test. you hold down eject and the start button and turn on the main switch at the back. it is in most models . for the slim you need to disconnect the power lead hold start and eject and the plug the power lead back in.
judge dredd a character in the 2000ad comics. he was a comic character first . there were games but the comic came first so not a good comparison to use . a lot of comics have turned out to be good film / series. as for games a few were decent but the majority are crap to be honest. I think metal gear solid has potential as does god of war and halo.
