RESPECT THE STREET DATE! I mean, if you get an early copy, good for you but be smart and stay offline, geniuses.
This was a great and very concise write up. THIS Is the kind of stuff I want to see more of on N4G.
It's completely gratuitous and completely ridiculous, yet not too far removed from how women have been dressing up on Halloween as of late. And being that this character design is specifically meant to inspire cosplay... the two ideals seem to work pretty well together.
This game is a total sleeper and well worth checking out. It plays like a crazy mix of Gears of War blended with elements from The Terminator, Blade Runner and I, Robot.
Totally with you on that. It was so bad I had to turn it off.
The Kinect would be perfect to capture the faces of rage that a new Battletoads game would surely bring.
Did anyone have any doubt about this from the beginning?
I got Batman Arkham City GOTY Edition for like $16 a couple of months ago. This doesn't seem like much of a deal.
All these scenarios you've brought up can still see the light of day due to the nature of the game's design. I think the worst mistake Ubisoft has made in regards to this series is releasing so many installments in so few years. I have AC3 sitting on my 360 HD and I can barely bring myself to play the single player for some reason. I will say that the multiplayer is some of the best, most intense online play you can find anywhere.
Here's something I've noticed. If a game has a huge fanbase, chances are you're going to run into some mouthy kids. It makes perfect sense really, even though these same kids shouldn't be playing most of these "M" rated games but that's a whole other argument. It all depends on the game you're playing. I've been playing lots of Splinter Cell Blacklist and everyone who plays that game know the importance of proper communication. It's also a game that d...
Don't get me wrong, the XBox side has its trolls as well. That's a fact. I've even been guilty of it myself on a couple of occasions. But seriously, you can have someone make a pro-Xbox comment on here that is completely spot on, accurate, correct, informational and inarguably the truth and STILL have that comment bombarded with a ridiculous amount of disagrees. It kills me that N4G is such a great place to get info on the gaming world but such a hopeless place to have anything ne...
If you care to hear my theory, I really believe that it's a result of this current generation having the Xbox 360 as the leading system and PS3 fans being upset about it. They had what was supposed to be the better system and the Xbox 360 trumped it. Now, PS fans are eager to see the new system outperform the XB1 and they'll do and say anything to ensure or convince people that the PS4 is the better system. If you look really closely at the forums, in most cases you'll see PS4 die...
Seriously now, am I the only one noticing the trolling from the PS4 side on just about every XB1 article? If these are the kind of people I'm missing out on playing online over PSN with, then thank Christ I haven't signed up for it.
That game was pretty good but in changing the control scheme from the original (which was pretty bad in itself), it lost something. Also, I remember this game suffered from some pretty bad slowdown at times. You're right though, this game should be available regardless.
CoD is too big a franchise to get outright "killed" by a new IP, that's something that's going to take some time. Truth be told, Titanfall looks pretty awesome and it's single handedly going to sell systems. That first reveal trailer was enough to get me and plenty of others to preorder the XB1 as it stands.
It's entirely possible, no matter how you want to spin this. And if it is indeed a PS4 exclusive, my bet is it'll be a timed exclusive.
I never play a game the first time through on anything lower than the default difficulty. In a lot of cases, it's better to set it higher on the first play through actually, that way you can kill several achievements/trophies with one stone.
Amazing games sometimes fail to make cash. Same thing with movies. Doesn't mean that they're bad, it just means they failed to find their audience.
Couldn't have said it better myself.
Anyone who has been gaming long enough knows the risks when they play a game before it's release date. Sometimes it's not such a big deal but with huge titles like this, you're playing with fire.
