Before I read this site and any instructions I went to the PS store one morning and downloaded the time attack mode.
Since doing that, Motorstorm doesn't even boot and I don't feel very thrilled about deleting all my save game and update data. Before anyone calls me a "tard" or anything, I really didn't EXPECT there to be any risks.
I think this whole motorstorm update weighed against the poorness of the online mode when it was released is an absoulte...

I like it how (according to your incredible wisdom) that games that arn't even released are automaticly trilogies... EG: Mass Effect.
Half of that is a virtual list dude, and heavan only knows on what the release dates are. I agree with you though, there is some sh*t hot software in there like Deadrising, Halo3 and Gears of War.
I didn't by a PS3 as a paper weight you know, there are some fantastic games already out and on the PS3 and PSN, and lots to come.

Developing games for multiple platforms especially the Xbox360 would further delay the game and end up with a dumbed down version for the PS3 because the Xbox360 disk space issue.

When I bought a PS3, a Sony employee marched into my house with a gun and demanded that I imediately replace my entire DVD collection with Bluray. I was never alowed to watch DVD disks again, either on my PS3 or a standalone player. I really have been force fed bluray.
Sony didn't give me any choice. I was demanded to buy a PS3 at gunpoint and buy nothing but bluray movies for it.

2. You are correct in saying the Playstation 3 was marketed as a games console, however the inclusion of the bluray disk drive is a big involvement in the development process. All the Games are on Bluray and better games are to come, hand in hand with bluray's large capacity. The ability for the PS3 to play Bluray movies out of the box is a fantastic thing...
Mate, I really don't see the point to that post you just made. It just sounds like the illogical ravings of a bitter bluray hater.
HD-DVD was a good format - it provided higher image quality and audio quality on it's movies than bluray did. Disk space or not... HD-DVD was the better format for movies because it had the VC1 Codec.
Now that Bluray has far more studio backing and the support of the VC1 codec... it's just as good.
