Buy an ipod shuffle, problem solved! That Plus PS4 is still cheaper than xbone.
I think the problem is, is that because call of duty fails to innovate every year, battlefield feels as though they can do the exact same thing. What we really need is for one of the companies to really step up. If they both fail to innovate, then where is the competition?
Xbox 360 > PS3
Xbox One < PS4
(I my opinion.) Brand loyalty is for morons who are unable to think for themselves. Gamers will get whatever platform is best for games (In my opinion, PS4, in others it could be Xbone.)
I reckon they'll add it back in BF5. They need to keep some features from previous games returning because god forbid they would make a game too much like the older ones.
They already alienated hardcore battlefield players with battlefield of duty 4. The are slowly making the game less like BF, and that is what is alienating fans.
I disagree with the fact they are too lazy, but I do feel the 'uniform eco-system' is a bit weak. Not just with consoles, but with all of MS' new products. I buy a PC to be a PC, not a tablet (just an example.)
I'm not referring the the article, I'm just saying in general. In fact I'm quite like the look of most games on the list (except kinect sports rivals). It was more of a general comment on keeping tabs on games. I'll tell you what a bad game is. Action 52. There you go.
@jatakk. TBH if I had the money for both platforms I would get both. I was always an xbox guy so I'm sure to miss some titles. Plus DR3 and titanfall look sweet, but as it stands I would say...
I can but hope for 2143 in the style of 1943. Although I highly doubt there will be another game of the same style. EA wouldn't be able to milk it with DLC so I guess it will never happen.
Games console = for games. Bad games = bad console. I feel its good to keep tabs.
I read the article, and I stand by my statement.
To publish mobile games?
I have to admit that homefront was pretty disappointing from an SP perspective, but I really enjoyed the MP with friends. It was a blast! I loved the idea of BP. Hopefully the next one won't have crytek syndrome.
I know, but what is the point in putting out an old build for the beta? Whats the point in searching for bugs that have most likely been fixed since then. Its more of a demo than a beta.
As far as I'm concerned it was after the first bad company things started to go down hill. Bad company was in development before call of duty became really successful therefore it had no influence on the development of the game. It stuck with the core battlefield experience. No regenerating health, a more in depth class system and a battlefield weapon unlocks system. When BC2 was in development call of duty was a huge franchise and therefore the development of BC2 was effected by that. Re...
You are correct. They are different. But battlefield is slowly becoming more of a casual call of duty style game. The gameplay between the two will always differ, but at the end of the day BF is just trying to casualize which is a huge shame.
Thats fair enough. If people do disagree with me id love to hear why.
For me its really about a few things.
1. Regenerating health. It really makes medics redundant, thereby decreasing the amount of teamwork.
2. Vehicle regenerating health. In what universe was this ever a good idea? It makes engineers redundant thereby reducing teamwork.
3. Dumbed down and simplified classes. All of the classes are just melded into 4. I think battlefield 2 had the class system almost perfect, but BF3 came along and messed ev...
"Hardcore appeal" HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Because of what happened to the normal battlefield games. Battlefield 3/4 are just casual and CODified. I really hope they don't mess it up but knowing them, they'll completely cock it up. Make the solider feel light, remove all of the awesome destruction and make maps smaller to try and draw in the COD crowd. After BF1942 and BF2, BFBC (which I really wish they'd bring to PC) is probably my favourite battlefield game. If they make another I hope they go to the roots of what made ...
Yeah, they are getting shorter and shorter until they are no longer present. Maybe then the team will focus completely on multiplayer and be able to get all of the maps in the core package and not charge me £30 for the rest of them.
