Well in terms of remastering the MCC far outdoes GTA 5 and the last of us. Very little was done to the game graphically and GTA 5 looks better, but just no where near as better as Halo 2 anniversary looks compared to halo 2. Plus the MCC packs far more content.
Ah. Its likely these are just vcols then. Dat makes sense.
The models look amazing but jeez, those textures are flat as fuck plus the spec map is waayyyyyyyy too high.
I would love to see both COD4, WaW, MW2 and BO1 remastered. Couldn't give a single shit about the rest.
Actually that pleases me very much. As I say I haven't really been following the game that much. I knew there was supposed to be an exact remake of H2 MP and I was mostly wondering if this was it (and hoping it wasn't).
Brilliant. I haven't been following the game all that closely as I don't have an xbone but I'm actually considering picking one up. I'd love to relive the halo 2 glory days. Tower of power here I come!
God I hope the classic halo 2 variant of MP is there. This just doesn't look like the halo 2 I knew and loved.
I also played at EGX and thought the exact same thing. Grinding was a pain and the level design was dreadful. It felt just like a standard TPS. Nothing special.
Oh yeah because I'm sure after the massive fuck up that was battlefield 4 they'll just allow the exact same thing to happen again. Makes sense seeing as they had a fucking huge backlash and I'm sure EA are just praying that it'll happen again, especially with their reputation on the line with such a hugely anticipated title.
Battlefront. I rest my case.
Funny that from what I saw people spent very little time on the rails :P it was really hard to aim when on them and actually transfering from one to another was also not very intuitive. Not really sure what the disagrees are, its not a bad game just not half as good as people were hyping it to be.
I was really really exited about getting it right up until the moment I played it at eurogamer. None of the stuff is that great. It plays just like a normal FPS and the sliding and shit seems like more of a gimmick than an actual gameplay feature. The gunplay is OK but is really nothing special.
I played a bit of the game at eurogamer and it really really really really really makes me want to get a Wii U. Damn me and my lack of monies.
I'd love to see some form of titan mode in SW:BF. Like launching up EMP's into space to lower the star destroyers shields then having to board it and destroy it. Sounds great to me. I think the chances of them releasing a whole new title (full release not arcade) is minimal as its likely that SW:BF would be fairly similar in terms of gameplay and they probably won't want to run 2 games of the same type. Look what happened to MoH.
As awesome as that looked, if the stamina bar is still in its a no go for me.
I don't exactly think a room with slabs for walls, ceilings and floor is a good way to demonstrate 'photo realism' I want to see outdoor scenes. For me the outdoor environments are what I mostly measure graphics on.
Unless your competitors are either sleepy or dying that is hardly the case, which sony most certainly isn't.
It is more than possible to do. I do a lot of multiplayer programming within unity and I can't imagine it being much different than syncing a players position. As long as the send rate is fairly low and the use interpolation and extrapolation everything should be fine.
I wonder how this will function with my wonderful 300kb/s download speed. Hmmmmmmmm
Not really, seeing as the console and the MCC are £400 without AC.
