Great analysis. I really must watch Persepolis soon, keep meaning to!
The PSPGo needs all the luck it can get I think
It's a brave move but I do feel uncomfortable without an inventory system. Makes ME2 feel more like an action game than RPG.
Natal actually turning out to be good? I'm not so sure.
Love the humour of the article though.
Nice analytical piece.
I'd like to see more games which encouraged me to take out enemies through non-lethal methods.
Really looking forward to Heavy Rain. I'm expecting it to be a flawed gem, much like Fahrenheit
Really hope Sonic Adventure makes its way to XBLA. I never got the chance to play it much on the Dreamcast unfortunately :(
Interesting article on something that hadn't really occurred to me before. It'd be good to see a wider variety of body types, I mean if films can do it, why not games?
I dearly hope game prices do drop! I'll believe it when I see it though, besides special offers of course.
I really can't see Duke Nukem ever seeing the light of day somehow.
PSP2 would be nice at some point though.
Good to see a mention for WET!
Sure it might be nothing special or unique but it's good fun.
Surely it's time to just let the Duke die?
Big fan of this kind of banter. I know some people think it's pointless but I love it. Adds a nice layer of depth in many cases and makes me enjoy the game more.
The writer of this piece should check out Fort Zombie. It's not as finely honed as it should be but it's similar to what they've described as the perfect game. Now if only a big developer would take up an idea like this!
Meh I'm an anti social gamer, I want my strong single player stories to play by myself without having to organise co-op sessions all the time!
Yeah I love the console version. So much fun in a guilty pleasure sort of way.
Nice piece. I particularly agree when it comes to MMOs. They really can't be reviewed accurately within a week like a number of other games, the same is arguably true with large RPGs such as Dragon Age. Some games simply shouldn't be rushed because it produces a skewed opinion that may well not be the case for the more 'normal' gamer imo.
Couldn't agree more with that piece. Such a missed opportunity by Infinity Ward imo
Interesting stuff. Made me more interested in checking out Brutal Legend, sounds intriguing!
It'd be about time for Gran Turismo 5 to finally show up
