Sobering realisation isn't it? I put in hundreds upon hundreds of hours with Final Fantasy 7 and 8, but the older I've become the less time I've had.
I reviewed FFXIII, Mass Effect 2 and Dragon Age: Origins which was brilliant as I had an excuse to spend many hours with them, but now I've finished writing about them it feels like I should be doing something more useful :/
New SSX really needs to hurry up and just be announced!
Nice analysis. Be interesting to see what solution will come about if any.
The more I read about The World Ends With You, the more I realise that I really need to play it.
Digiex as the article explains ;)
I'd love to see Jet Set Radio on the 360.
I feel suitably educated.
Love the sound of Travian in particular
User generated content seems the best idea to me, assuming it's well moderated of course
Interesting stuff.
I haven't played Demon's Souls yet so I'm not sure how I'd feel. I've got a feeling I'd feel relieved more than anything!
In the case of Batman: AA though I felt very disappointed at the lacklustre boss.
Change always seems to be a little intimidating. We all like familiarity after all but it does take a while to adjust to especially if we're used to a set way of doing things as the previous God of War and Final Fantasy games made us feel.
Gamer was only sometimes shallow?! ;)
Give it time and I reckon there will be celebrities in the game world. It's only comparatively recently that games have become mainstream anyhow so it's all still rather early days for true breakthrough imo
I really liked the way that Heavy Rain did it. You could complete the game yet not win which makes sense to me. I'd like to see it happen in more games in the future personally.
It could work! Look at Wolfenstein and Doom RPG on the mobile formats, they're great fun. :)
Such a shame when a game doesn't live up to your expectations.
I find it happens far too often now when I go back to older games :/
It might be a bit of a cheat but I do love Beyond the Sea in Bioshock. Such a brilliant song and perfect for the game.
Same with Fly Me to the Moon.
I'd quite like to see a DS as powerful as a Gamecube. Could make for some great titles.
Same here!
Yup! Was strangely unphased by Eleanor :/ Maybe it's just me being odd though ;)
I'm not so sure if I'd say BioShock 2 did it better. A combination of the two would have worked well though.
Heavy Rain didn't explore the relationship as deeply as it could have, despite starting very well. Shaun did feel more like an object than anything else in the end.
Then again I wasn't a big fan of BioShock 2's way of focusing more on the action than the emotional connections that could have potentially been there.
I felt more for Shaun than I did any ...
Yup, zombies are always a good call.
