I've yet to play a PopCap game that I didn't like!
Bookworm Adventures is brilliant besides the usual Peggle and PvZ
Dragon Age 2 seems pretty certain to me which is excellent news! Loved the original and can't wait for the expansion pack.
I try to avoid reloading earlier save points but it is oh so tempting sometimes.
To put it briefly, it's all a bit of a mess eh?
Interesting analysis though.
I'm only a couple of hours into FFXIII and although it is incredibly linear so far, it's still making the little Final Fantasy fanboy in me incredibly excited.
I think once you've played and loved one numeric Final Fantasy, you're hooked. Even if the fans are becoming a little long suffering now.
Noooo Acro the Acrobat was excellent!
The rest though....yeah, sucky.
I don't want to hear it either!
Still secretly hoping Epic does a new Jazz Jackrabbit.......hey I can dream ;)
The rate this year is going, I'm not convinced that there'll be a 'quiet' month for good games this year.
Wallet will not be happy :(
As much as I adored every second with Heavy Rain, I can't help but agree with a lot of what this article says.
I do kinda want to bury my head in the sand and refuse to admit it though ;)
I really wish there'd been more encouragement of exploration of Rapture. It all felt too forced and pushed into getting on with the main storyline. Mostly thanks to that pesky 'go here' arrow.
I'm a big fan of linear games, providing they tell a good story along the way.
Some brilliant things listed here. I think I need to print the list out and see how many I can achieve.
Shadow Complex was such an obvious love letter to the Metroid way of doing things! Brilliant game though.
I got past the music zone level of Zool even though it did take me a hell of a lot of perseverance :D
Give me a new LittleBigPlanet game and I'll be a happy gamer :)
Interesting and unbelievable that Dark Orbit used screenshots of Boiling Point to sell itself! How low can you go?!
Couldn't agree with you more. It still all feels so annoyingly black and white in knowing what to do to get paragon or renegade points.
I also found it a bit annoying when in some instances an NPC would be really against doing something, Shepard says one line to convince them otherwise and they go along with it. Surely more coercion would be needed?!
I know it worked in KOTOR but you had the force then, that made more sense to me.
I'm a little surprised to see Shellshock 2 isn't top of the list but Leisure Suit Larry really is astonishingly bad :(
Love the Sybil Pandemik and ’Abe Lincoln’ mention. Great but weird couple.
On a more serious note, George and Nico in Broken Sword are my favourite couple in any game, let alone just the adventure genre.
I've never heard of it before but I really like the sound of it now.
