I'm doing the 5/$100 deal through best buy, but other than that, no games this fall for me. Batman, U3, BF3, MW3, and Skyrim will keep me busy well in to the new year, roughly till next years fall season

COD4 was the best of the series, will always be. It reinvented the genre. MW2 began to destroy it. I agree shackdaddy. I have all intentions of buying all these games new- Batman, BF3, Skyrim, Uncharted- so put the pass in there. If I don't have the urgent need to get a game day one that requires a pass, I'll just wait till price drops. I bet Batman will be in atleast 1 black friday ad, if not multiple. If you can't spend 60 bucks on a game that deserves it, then buy it when it goes on sale.

Yeah, there are some nice changes from the beta, those 2, and points for snipers who set mobile spawn points. I'm not the biggest fan of snipers but there are plenty of opportunities to place spawn points in some very strategic spots. Can't wait for next Tuesday!!
The low sales of R3 is Insomniac's fault. R2 was a terrible game and R3 did nothing to improve the series. The online is a complete rip of every shooter out there, literally offering nothing new to the genre or series. The resistance story is interesting but its just kinda getting boring. There were no epic battles this time around and nothing that made gamers truly love the game.

Its quite simple. If you don't feel a game is worth 60 bucks, give it a few months, I have yet to see a game not get a price drop or go on sale somewhere within a few months of release. It's devs/pubs trying to suffocation the used sales market which robs people. If you trade in a relatively new game to GS they give you 30 bucks and turn it for 55, almost 100% profit on their investment. Devs do all the work for GS to make hugely on the games.
So buying a well made game new is wrong? It cost you nothing more for an online pass if you buy it new.
Well said. This being a beta was definitely not utilized like a beta. People didn't treat it like such either. While the beta actually got me more excited for the game, I can understand peoples gripes and complaints.

False. If COD would have had a beta with issues people would have been supportive siting previous iterations in the series as their proof. Dice has a good track record- look at the BF series- yet people think BF3 is going to just like a beta??? True idiots think a beta should be a representation of the final game. I would appreciate it if you don't purchase BF3 and just stick to your quick scoping "skill" in the COD series.
Amen, I'm so sick of these articles. I get that people looking for COD style gameplay didn't like BF3, and honestly, I'm fine with that. If BF3 sales suffers alittle because 13 y/o kids worried about their kdr wont beg mommy to buy this, then cool. I'd rather play with people who enjoy the game and understand the team work mentality.
Seems interesting considering COD on 360 still gets DLC before PS3. I am curious way Sony isn't fully supporting Dice and the BF series of games. Sure BF doesn't have the fan base of COD, but they have a real opportunity to have a strong partner ship with Dice which would truly add some competition to the already tense battle of COD vs BF
