Tekken Dark Resurrection for PSN was 1080p and 60fps, but look at the graphics.
GT5 has been in development for 5 years, Forza 3 was developed in 2. Taking that into consideration, Turn 10 did a damn fine job. I actually own Forza 3 as well, and it never drops below 60fps.
As for GT5, the fact that they are going for 1080p at 60fps is very ambitious, which is probably why it took so long to develop. I don't think it is anything to get concerned about though. ALL games have imperfections.
