Stop defining things that appeal to us as "core". I'm disappointed with the initial Kinect line up too, but I got over it. If it doesn't appeal to you, stop complaining and just don't buy the fucking thing. If games eventually come that appeal to you, buy it. I feel like no one read this article. I didn't like Microsoft's keynote. I downright hated it. But that doesn't matter. They won because they will be most successful. Do you think "hardcore gamers" loved Wii Sports Resort? No, but it sold about 40 million copies. Kinect will do just as well, if not better.
