Sure the Vita was a huge success XD.Fact check your own words
I don't understand this defending of Nintendo, the only support Nintendo got from third-party was Oprah Winfrey since the Wii lol.
The reason why Nintendo keeps trying things different from the competition is because they can't beat that competition at their game.
Apparently while trying a different (although a Wii and tablet) approach didn't help either. You wanna tell me the WiiU was innovative?seriously?.They tried to appeal to a tablet audience with an a...
Nintendo a leader?lol
That's not what they NEED,that's what you want.I think you want a Steam machine, not even Sony or Microsoft would go with those specs.
Too expensive.
Nintendo,just..... well..... on the other hand........ I'm thinking...
and............ there's................... ............................... .... nope nothing.
Does the author have multiple accounts or something?,any sensible comment
on here gets a X2 disagree ratio lol.Japan developing for a Western audience is becoming a very rare phenomena. We're lucky to get Yakuza games over here.
The more I keep reading your blog the more I see this subliminal suggestion that it's all Epic's fault and them being responsible for lack of development in Japan.
Which is absolute rubbish while they've pushed game deve...
If you want to launch a new system you kinda have to eh?.
It's not a wild assumption,traditional console cycles didn't last for 10 years.
This generation will never see that duration, hence why a cheaper build makes sense and might actually perform a little better. It might even be for a new MS system.Sony had these rumours,Nintendo with the NX and now this?.
That's too many coincidences.
They made it possible to give you a voucher to get MGS:TPP instead of B:AK.The game download is still available,i think even Nvidia acknowledged that mess wouldn't get a decent follow-up support and it didn't.
Not sure what happened with those other titles you've mentioned.
Japan doesn't use UE4,and that proves what? It's not Epic's problem if you use their engine.
I have Euro Fishing on my PC build with UE4,fan made projects such as MGS build with UE4.
What are you talking about man?Japan as a whole has problems with development.
" Game Development used to be 1-2 years including building a game engine "
HA!,i don't know in what decade you live but those days are over. You might ...
So let me get this straight,in the 7th gen people kept replacing (refurbish) 360 systems and ended up buying a new unit. That means the same hardware.
I'm not saying this rumour to be true but MS does have an incentive to change certain things,i doubt these changes would be significant.Perhaps this means a cheaper yet slighty more powerful APU for new batches or new version of X1.
Remember sometimes you win as early adoptor and sometimes you lose.
Kind of w...
Hype train,it was build to release close to the movie.EA really can't stop #%()ing can they?.
It takes time to build an engine as well,business-wise it makes sense to go with a commercial model that has a low cost entry point. In today's industry however the business aspect is rather to build an engine and control everything themselves. You save quite some time with UE or any other engine for that matter that only requires a license (obviously for commercial purposes you pay).
The time spend is totally up to a developer, you save time rather than spending more time. This blog...
What's the core element of roleplaying?
The definition of RPG is not so much based on older turn-based mechanics (Japanese) or the Western variant of game-play.
Both regions have been mixing all kinds of interpretations of roleplaying.
I had this discussion a few days ago about how roleplaying is not region and playstyle defined but rather a developing character and gathering of skills. So yes i totally agree with your consensus.
The first Far Cry (Crytek) is still a very demanding game.
I think it's still the best in the series.
Want to hear something even more disturbing?I have bought a cheap Q-Ware PS3 controller from this local retail shop, hey it's a very known toy store over here.
So i went home to hook it up,and to my surprise the controller wouldn't work, apparently Sony blocked certain third-party controllers because of safety measures and making sure you're not using dangerous controllers with lack of quality assurance and them potentially blowing up because of cheap parts.
Okay,i p...
Imagine the one who traded that game in reads this article lol.
It's not a bad game,i really like the X-MAS atmosphere.
Like others mentioned though,Arkham Asylum is the best in the series and i'm playing it on a i3 4005U with Intel HD graphics laptop (1366X768,low average of 35FPS)at the moment.
Oh man i can't read that first line and not laugh,i'm not hitting disagree. This is solid satire.
