Bahahahaha. Just stop. It's not even close. The PS4 is far superior. Wait, maybe you like jaggies? I didn't think of that. If you do, then my apologies.
I get the argument. All of my real life friends are on Xbox Live. I was an XB360 guy last generation mostly because of that.
That being said, I refused to buy an XB1 this time around for all of the obvious reasons. So, now I'm a PSN guy and have like 5 friends. It sucks, but that's the price I'll pay for a superior machine with better exclusives and, in my opinion, controller.
Side note: my PSN ID is GKW212. Add me.
Most multiplatform games? I think you meant ALL.
Um, no it doesn't.
It's also a power indicator, an in-game health indicator, an "ID" when playing multiplayer with multiple DS4s.
Nope to all of that.
The DS4, in my opinion, is better than the Xbox controller. This is coming from an Xbox360 user who made the jump to PS4 this generation because of the obvious reasons (better graphics/power, better exclusives, better controller, etc.).
Further, the light isn't that annoying to me. Most people don't have issue with it. Those that do have every right to that opinion though.
I'm with you.
I actually have had a game crash (BF4 obviously) but that hasn't happened since the first week I got my PS4. 100% smooth sailing for the last few months.
I am still pleasantly surprised at how quiet the console is. I never hear the fan no matter what game I'm playing.
Um, tell me where it says this game will be 30fps?
If one wants more power and better graphics, XB1 is beat.
KZ. Sorry dude. I've played both and it isn't that close.
Cool story Bell-end.
Does anyone want to be the Butters to my Cartman and freeze me until March 21st? But seriously, do NOT forget to wake me up.
Of course. I was just commenting on the fact that it's really unhealthy to be playing video games 7 hours a day. I love my PS4 and play on it a lot. But I also have a job and like to work out, go outside, go to a bar, and bang a girl here or there.
You know, normal stuff.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: if you are playing long enough to where the DS4 runs out of juice, it's probably time to take a break anyway.
And by probably I mean absolutely.
Cool, and I make over triple that. Was there really a need to tell him you already make that much?
I'm with you on that. It's a brand new piece of hardware that had to be produced in very high volumes in a relatively short time frame. You cannot name another piece of equipment with similar complexity that has ever been manufactured in similar volumes/time frames.
Couldn't agree more. Who leaves their console (or any piece of expensive electronics) on a carpet? Besides the heat/static electricity issue, little Fido could get to it or you could step or trip on it.
I understand your point in principle. However, it is possible that a developer would indeed say that if margins were higher when only developing for one platform versus multiple platforms.
I don't know how much more overhead there is in having both a PS4 and XB1 version. If it's a low-cost issue, then yes I agree with you. Sony and MS care about the bottom line, not the top line.
Pope - The difference does indeed show. That's what I think Lukas is trying to tell you. I've played both and I have to say KZ looks materially better. Ryse looks good, don't get me wrong, but it has this odd shiny/plastic lighting effect that doesn't look right. Further than the eye test, just look at the specs in terms of what the hardware is doing with each. Resolution and frame rate are materially higher on the PS4. If you choose to ignore that or choose to ignore the outp...
@notyobiz
Are you serious? You literally have no idea what you're talking about. MSFT is much larger than Sony. Sony has a market cap around $17 billion. Microsoft has a market cap of about $300 billion. That's about 17 times larger. Don't comment on things you clearly know nothing about.
