it looks ace, hope they have some sort of upload features, like you get assigned tasks for the ps3 history magazine in home or you have to get the best shots of a pack of lions mauling a zebra, and we get to vote the winners like the mii contest channel.

it seems to happen if you quit when in a game, you should exit the game to the main menu then it updates your rank and the game quits normally.

and that's why I didn't like grid or dirt. because there was no simulation mode.
the browser may be accessible, if you played the MGO beta you will know that the browser was used to access the game instructions, sign up to konami id, access your own homepage were you could create a blog and some other crap.
so i wouldn't rule it out

I absolutely love this game, especially after playing the demo for a stupid amount of time and finally getting the full version is the best feeling I've had purchasing a game, but I feel that mgs4 will beat that feeling when I highlight the blu ray in my ps3 and the background pic changes and whatever music gets played i'm going to cry :)
Had Sony confirmed it would be out this month?, so this rumour is based on the fact of another rumour that Sony was to release 2.40 next week

I played it today and thought it was ok, but the driving section really put me off the game, possibly a rental
IMHO ps4 is sort of here already, ok bare with me on this one.
cell has been designed (and you can find this out in many documents regarding cell) to use light to transmit data and not today's method of wires, giving it an unlimited speed and it should be possible to do with very basic cooling.
so if the tech is viable (and cheap enough)in the next gen no matter what sonys competitors throw at them they can
A. use the high speed cell
B. if the tech is not...
the Ps3 was designed to do this it's called DDS, that's why the blu-drive has a constant read speed across the disk, and not faster in different parts of the disk.
for instance the 360 reads the outer third of dvd9 faster than the ps3, the middle third at best is slower than ps3, and the inner portion is not even used because it's so slow. that's why 360's capped dvd 9 capacity is 7.75gb not the full 9 because it reads the inside so slow.
and remember blu-ray holds ...
I love using the wii-mote to aim and shoot, ( better than sticks anyway)
so I'm interested to see how this game turns out.
After finishing GTAIV I traded it in along with COD4, and I don't regret it one bit, the game is truly amazing, graphics, sound, story, level design it's brilliant, and for me the best AI on a console game by miles, and I love how the game doesn't seem to load after you start playing it
