What's more exciting upcoming in the future?
Sarah's development is good but the game is just really damn fun with a great story.
I disliked uncharted (my recordd shows it). It just wasn't for me. but I wouldn't call it the most disappointing game of the year. Fans loved it and critics loved it. Has to count for something.
@Master in my experience at least, I feel more pressure before release. It's a huge rush to finish before the embargo and write the review and get it out. That's just me.
@vickers we live in a society where people just lack self control unfortunately.
Yeah there are, especially for smaller outlets because it can even the playing field a little bit with larger outlets.
yep and I've experienced it. I've also experienced not getting a game when I was told I would. It happens. A lot of this is not about the consumer but more about advertising money and traffic. The people who buy the first week are going to buy during the first week.
try to get the early bird special...it's only like $38 for a standard ticket.
Puzzle solving in Zelda is my favorite part.
Yeah I just moved to LA so I feel pretty lucky!!!
@goldby in many cases true.
This sounds so cool. So glad they are coming to LA!!!!!
@kindkinesis there's no proof though that a lack of early review copies hurt the game sales. It may simply be a case of a sequel not doing as well as the first, and that does tend to happen. I'm not familiar with the sales numbers elsewhere but I doubt it was due to the lack of early reviews. That's fallacious logic and faulty cause and effect.
Simply because they aren't giving media outlets early review copies? That has nothing to do with pre-orders. People don't pre-order because of reviews.
Pachter has become a joke the last few years, despite whatever Phil said.
the game sucked. MW remastered was the only thing worth it with this game.
people who are going to buy on day one are going to buy. :P
it may be in part to the whole kotaku fiasco with fallout 4. they're a great company to work with and respect their decision. it's not like it's going to hurt their sales; it won't.
Tough to compile it in such a compact list and a few surprises but these were the best games of 2016, even though there were some repeats for awards.
