The human eye can tell the difference...just look at computer monitors.
If you got the money...go with Sony's XBR4...if you have less money get a XBR3. I bought the XBR3 prior to the XBR4 coming out. Wish I waited 6 months...but oh well.
Tax? I'm looking on your website and I see 79euros but at the bottom I see Prijs incl. 19% BTW. I'm going to guess thats price includes 19% something something tax. So in reality its 64euros? Even 64euros is too much...but that tax is outrageous. That is 1/5 the damn price.
Ya'll need a Gamestop!
And Sony can't figure out why their selling less software... That is truly uncalled for.
Both systems were awesome in their time. 3DO had some awesome games...too bad it was a head of it's time and cost too damn much. $800 when it was released... I miss those days...*sobs*
I never considered portables to be consoles, but whatever. N64 was an excellent system but got overshadowed by the new and improved CD based consoles. Too bad the load times on the PS1 sucked monkey nutts. I would have loved to see Turbo Graphix 16/w CD on there. The author couldn't figure out why the Dreamcast failed...piracy. You could buy a DC game and burn it and it would play perfectly on any DC system. Sometimes the disk would work and would require a boot disk. Hands down the ea...
I was never a fan of Tomb Raider. But I bet if you replaced Drake with Ol'Gurl it would have sold millions already.
I bought the game on release but I didn't finish it in time for UT3...so once I get bored from UT I'll get back into Uncharted. It really is an amazing game just not my type.
I feel sorry for you guys. Ain't no way in hell would I pay $85 for a game. Do Xbox games cost about the same?
How is this new? Sony PS3eye can do this already.

The game is called Trails of Topoq. Check out the video.
You should pick this game up...its retarded fun. Recommend the mouse and keyboard!
I haven't gone Intel since I had a P100...but I think I might just have to. This 2500+ Barton's days are numbered.
Nothing wrong with X2 and below chips. It is the new Phenom chips they are having problems with. There is a bug in the circuitry they need to isolate, fix and redesign to increase the mhz.
These two companies keep flip flopping for the lead...I'm pretty sure AMD will get their act right again with the next series of chips. Phenom has missed the boat and Coreduo2 is just too strong a chip. This is like last generation when Opteron was spankin' ass vs the P4.
Bad example for a game that doesn't need the extra space. Shooters have never been the type of game to push a certain medium to its limits. They tax a system graphically...
I couldn't agree more. For a long time I've wonder exactly what he has stated about slowing down the future of gaming. Xbox 360 is an outstanding system (when it works (not trying to bash)). And it forces Devs to create new technics to make games fit on the DVD. Learning new compression technics is very helpful in cutting out a lot of the bloated and unneeded code.
When it comes to porting them to the PS3 is becomes a problem. So much wasted space per disk. So many things...
The population of the US is 301 million people. Roughly 6 million PS3s sold. Its pretty safe to say there are DVD players in almost every home. Not to include the lower poverty level people as they usually aren't included in the total population anyways. Only 8 million sold which come to about 1 in 37 people and 1 in 43 for Blu-ray owners. For being such a small percentage I think blu-ray owners are representing pretty well. When you look at the bigger picture, things do look pretty imp...
I looked up a different source and I see. You guys are correct. Xbox is doing pretty damn good down there. I know this is link is from Aug 07 but I can't see it changing that much.

The 360 was debuted March 06 in Aussieland. In 3 months it will be 2 full years. 6.6 games per system isn't really alot if you account for how long its been out already.
I'm not going to go the route #4 said. Because this is good news for the 360. This was a market that was all but closed to Microsoft. Now they have their foot in the door and I'm sure with their next system it will be neck and neck with the other systems in that region.
It is very impressive. Why? Hi Def players are still in their infancy. For any title on a high def disk(on Blu-Ray or HD-DVD) to sell more than 100k in the first week is doing way above average. It gives a good indication that people are actually interested in moving to HD. Do you think 12 months ago either camp could have sold 160k in week one(not including BOGO offer)?
Basically what I'm saying is, with a 160k sold in week one on a new storage medium is outstanding. ...
I was going to find out which firmware update it was. This is such old news its unreal x 3. The only reason for dropping the CPU speed was due to battery life like others posted here already. I've had this update since the day it released and zero problems with the PSP. The author of this thread really should had done alittle research prior to writing such nonsense.
So could the 360 if thats the case...
