You and me both...
Even though its 50mbps we might get 15mbps soild out of it over here. But I would gladly pay for it...
I have GTA as well...you need to cancel it if your in the military and then sign back up at the special of $65. Home phone + Cell phone + 3.2 = $135.
There is no 3.5mbps on this island...
Dude don't be upset over that...like my post above I live in Guam (part of the USA)...3.2mbps = $65 on special (normal price $99 per month @GTA). The ISPs on island are GTA (Guam Telephone Authority) and MCV (Marianas Cable Vision...always having problems, they even have a hotline to report internet outages).
When I was stationed in Okinawa Japan in 2001-2004 in '02 I had a T1 connection going directly into my bedroom for 6,500 yen a month (about $50 then). I was the first to have the fiber optics running into that building. Anywho...the US is WAY behind and the island of Guam where I live now is in the stone age. The fastest connection here is 3.2megs for $65 a month on special ($99 normal).
Final Fantasy XIII Versus (system seller).
How is the other company is broke? AMD needs money bad...they can't keep on borrowing money just to stay afloat.
Every since the Intel Core 2 has been on the scene AMD has been struggling. But this is a good thing. I'm happy AMD got smacked around because they were getting "big headed". AMD was always the value chip until the Athlon chips, then they charged more than anything Intel had. Now the tables are reversed.
If the price is right on the A...
Oh yes...the game is great in single player but online...absolutely horrible. This is hands down the most broken online system I have ever played.
Great to hear a patch is coming "again", I can only hope they just don't promise a patch but never release one like they did for PS3's Part 1.
I have already told several of my friends to hold off on purchasing this until a patch is released.
I can't believe I have two people sitting here trying to tell me that static from the carpet will go through the plastic case and hit the components inside. I'm totally blown for today...
Now if this guy opened the case and was repairing it...yea thats a different story. I work with electrically primed munitions on a daily basis, ie. C4, Blasting caps, carts for aircraft chaff and flare. And in my spare time build enthusiast computers for co-workers. I have yet to static go...
Since they were unable to fix the problem in part 1 on the PS3...their solution was to remove 1080p all together in part 2.
I can't believe that lame ass Ubi rep said something like that. Why didn't thier first one have these problems? They need to get a grip on reality and fix there servers/programming. Whatever they need to do they need to fix it ASAP. This is absolutely unacceptable.
After beating 1&2 I must say part 1 had the better storyline. Part 2 has much better gameplay.
Too bad I can't judge the online for the PS3 because the POS programming job by Ubisoft made online gaming unplayable.
There is no screen tearing in the PS3 version. Occasional frame rate drops though thanks to the explosions.
I wish your statement about developers catching up was true.
While I love the fact Ubisoft enhanced PS3 graphical display the totally F'ed up the online part.
So at this time it doesn't matter about side by side comparisons. I can't even enjoy the F'ing game.
*note Single player is cool but everyone knows RB6 is about online play. If you don't have online play...it's f'in pointless.
Ubisoft you better not F us over this tim...
Did ya'll read the posts as to why consoles shouldn't be on the carpet? One dude listed because of static...LoL. How on earth is a static charge going to jump from the carpet through a plastic case. Hmm... He might need to submit that theory to Myth Busters...well then again his 3 grade teacher.
Check out the post...
At the time the incident happened, it was on the tile.
From the way the console is selling this generation... I'm going to have to say "I disagree". The news has been out for years about RROD and the 200 different ways it can break, but people are still out buying it regardless of failure rate. Games are being sold damn near faster than they are made.
...with that being said...wonder what it'll be like after the 3 year warranty runs out. Will MS extend it's a more than generous coverage or will they d!ck over the con...
Actually there is a lot of people still playing the PS3 version as folks aren't worried about gamerscores and such. I do expect this to change as more of the diehards start playing part 2.
Yet another good score for the home team!
Just waiting on IGN's review.
Yes Persona 4!! ...on the PS2? Hmm...someone loan them some money so they can upgrade to a PS3 version. Kthxinadvance.
Just about everyone that gives a damn about this game already has it on pre-order and have already seen it.
Thanks for the effort though. Got the copy on the dresser.
