Actually the PS3 offers much more for $599 then other consoles. It has everything needed in one box for all cases. And it is for future not for today.
For instance, you are tired to spend money for disposable AA batteries for your console. Ok, kiss them good-bye only for $55 for a 2 recharchable bat...
It is particularly imposible to form that kind of list. It is too subjective to be perfect, this list is just the matter of compilers' preferences. All depends on age of compilers, time they played games from and platforms they played.
IHMO this list is missing the greatest key games that made break-thrus in game industry like Elite, Quest series by Sierra, Retailator, Dune 2, Wing Commander, Wolfenstein for PC.I bet noone of compilers have never heard of Zilog80-based computers like ...

I dont care if one console is better then other when I have all of them =) But my favorite is PS3. Not because I can offord it without pain in my @ss. It is because most of 360 fans' arguments are pointless.

It developed games for the top consoles available. At least it was said so. After XBox or XBox360 release they were at the top. Now TN has the alternative console. And what is the most important - Japanese one.
