Big shot developer Square Enix took the world-wide stage this past week when they threw their highly-anticipated party/conference in Japan, describing the new titles that are currently in the works and the platforms that will be receiving them. The announcements were as follows:...
There was no official anouncement from SE about FFXIII multiplatforming.
During one interview Nomura just "evaded" the straight question about multiplatforming with the oriental politeness. He said a promising "maybe for some other platform". What did he mean noone knows but him. It might be mobile or wii.
All other speculations about multiplatforming of FFXIII were inflated by pro-X360 news sites.
About VF5 sales:
the answer is on surface: VF5 is a mltiplatform game. It is going to be released for X360 at this summer. I guess $600 is a too big amount. Better to wait for awhile.
A lil in-deapth analysis of X360 sales showed that the Elite modification of X360 sales are pretty weak. Very lil number of X360 customers wants to pay extra $100 for a bigger HDD and HDMI already having old X360 models that completely satisfies them.
Sony has same tricks in its sleeves. I mean there is a pretty big number of customers that preffer to play in sequels of already known games. Sort of "one-game" players. For example, many а potential customers are waiting for FF...

You said that there was a lack of X360 supplies at first 5 months. From other side PS3 European release delay cased the burst of sales at the mid March 2007. It is clearly shown on the red curve. If we look at the green curve (X360 sales) we wont find any "spalshes"...

The difference between Sony and MS is in thir different approaches: Sony preffers invest money in hi-tech researches and MS likes to invest money in publicity (incl. PS3 bashing) =) MS hi-tech is the fate of Apple Comp. =)

I'd like to see your reaction if Sony would remove from PS3 all hi-tech stuff like Cell, wi-fi , RSX etc and put inside old ps2 hardware , and begin to sell it as a next-gen console with a Blu-Ray and HDMI for 199 bucks. Wow! Fancy stuff in it! Best buy! Cheap and affordable - and completely backward-compatible!

I own both consoles. Even more I got a Wii too. We got all consoles officialy released here in Russia, but not X360. So I enjoy it being afraid everytime that I can be banned cuz I input not existing London address cuz I cannot be registered as a Russian user. And my friends too.

You know that 360 is the best console in the world. You have been reading about Xenon power, Xenos ablilities, fastest memory etc some many times for recent 2 years that it became obvious that IT IS THE BEST!
You read and and know that PS3 is a crap, that Cell sux and RSX is nothing comparing it with Xenos.
And after all some weird Jap declares that 360 is not capable for MGS4. Who is he to declare that?
