Although I'm not excited about this addition, I'm sure many pc gamers are.
Its nice to see The Virtual Console expand again.
so did MS, Sony, and many other companies, but that does not mean they are "going under." The economy is pretty bad, you know.

and what proof do you have to support this conclusion..
I would like to see a link of this "fact", that is if this ain't an opinion based solely on your hate on the direction Sonic is going.
Sonic doesn't need saving.
I see nothing wrong with experimentation with a franchise in order to keep it going and fresh.
Why does every franchise have to stay "old school" in order to stay revelant?
really nice post, spoonyRedMage.
There is a lot of truth written here when it comes to the seventh generation of game consoles.
When are people going to realize that Nintendo isn't trying to wipe out the traditional gamer?
From the beginning, Nintendo's goal with the Wii, and only goal, was to expand the user gaming base. That does not mean "replacing the hardcore gamer", nor does it mean "leave it behind."
If Nintendo was so obsessed with wiping out the traditional way of playing games, then why do games like Smash bros support a variety of controllers?
guess...
"So to make a long story short, no, Nintendo has not changed the definition of what it means to be a gamer and this author's vision is so blurred by his own sense of self-importance and his status of "true gamer" that anything that deviates from his small circle of familiarity is seen as threatening. Instead, Nintendo has made becoming a gamer more accessible so that more people can share that we have."

The only "superiority" Microsoft had was in mulitplatform ports. The 360 is powerful, yes, but as far as exclusives go...
We have seen more visually appealing exclusives on the PS3.

If anything, this question should be asked for Microsoft's next console.
apparently, IGN has not seen this lost yet...

Joystiq is taking these sales too seriously.
A 60,000 drop of sales, and its bad news, eh?
I have played Duke Nukem Forever ^_^

lol, it actually works
Aaron wasn't stumbling on the upcoming lineup, they were simply playing to the strategy of not showing everything at once like they always knew.
Its no secret that The Xbox strategy involves the element of surprise, and as Aaron put it, a sort of "poker" way of showing off their lineup.
just so you know, any fanboy terms like "xbots aren't premited in the gamer zone.
lol
big disgrace...
kicking your can all over the place

I really don't get why People hate Vista. It runs just fine on my computer(boot up speed and all).
Is there really problems with the OS that I simply don't know about, or am I just one of the 5% who is quite satisfied with Windows Vista?
I really want to know
I completely agree, Relin.
There has yet to be a game that tugs at my heart the way Lord of the rings did in that epic journey of struggle and friendship. Sure, many games include journeys, and even endearing characters, but the pure emotional attachment and the fear of a journey lost I felt for the hobbits in LOTR is still a holy grail that we have yet to grasp.
The story will have to require some sort of a journey, of course, but also a journey of consequence. wher...
