you know what they say:
if you can't beat them, sue them.
"Is Miyamoto losing touch with "gamers"?'
No, but I think gamers are losing touch with reason. It never ceases to amaze me how "surprised" nintendo gamers are when it comes to Nintendo's current approach.
David Hayter, you are a great voice actor, but your writing for Watchman needed a lot of work. Never in my life have I watched a Superhero movie that actually felt like I've been there for two and a half hours. I understand that many people love this adaption, and in a way this adaption was more faithful than any that preceded it, but for the average movie goer like me, the best part of the movie was the end.
The thing about movies is you should never remind me that I'm sitting t...
Talking about exaggeration...
They did announce Mario and Zelda titles in the works. Do you honestly think these titles grow on trees? These titles take time too make, and if you really were a Nintendo fan, you would know this better than anyone.
The very fact that Nintendo gave you all those core games within the first year in a half is nothing short of a miracle.
A country that only feeds five will perish, but a country that feeds more than 5,000 will be prosperous.
This is good news.
I figured this would happen; that the DSi Ware titles will finally be announced when we are a mere weeks away form launch.
I hear ya.
Teachers everywhere would be wondering how their classes became so quiet.
hehehe
Its probably a timed exclusive like the 360 was. Still, its interesting news for the Playstation platform.
I take it the first Bioshock sold pretty well.
There's a reason why Japan is a day ahead of the rest of the world.
This idea was simply a no brainer, and as always, Japan saw it first. Of course, The US isn't too far behind since some of my classes on campus allow ipod lectures.
The DSi contains a 133mhz processor, as well as, 16 MB of ram.
How else would you explain the DSi's improved browsing and other features?
The main point of the Wii is to break the barriers of "hardcore" and "casual" and show that gamers are gamers no matter what walk of life they inhabit. Sure, the effectiveness of the new controllers has some ways to go, but since when has something new ever been perfect the first time.
Who knows, the Second Wii could be the one.
played twisted metal black when I was 11.
I didn't know the "Mature" rating meaant what it met, and my Dad didn't know either.
I thought it meant that you had to be "mature" enough, lulz.
In the future of gaming....
Tron will become the new Halo
Give Nintendo time. They realized they've screwed up at E3, and now they are making up for it with these great titles like the ones mentioned in above posts for 2009.
They just need to find that right balance of core and casual games is all. The Nintendo DS library is a good example of what is possible.
I owned a 3DO. It had some really cool games for its time.
Games like NovaStorm, StarFighter, and some 3D action game where you were some sort of cyborg, or something and you faced bosses like Medusa and the like. I can't remember the name of that game, but the graphics of Medusa scared the pants off of me when I was young.
No surprise here.
If it weren't for Miyamoto-san, we wouldn't be playing video games here in America.
"Star Ocean IV Is A Masterpiece."
That sure is a bold statement.
More like 2029.
I agree that many of these concepts will start to appear a decade from now, but this video does over do it a bit, In my opinion.
I'm just glad its not another "Wii ruined gaming" article.
